Lets begin with HTML... I am currently learning things like Hex Code & Background options (eg. colors & images). Hex is the Code used to create colors on computers. A single color is made of a 6-digit code called Hex Code.
The digits that are used are:
0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F
With 0 being the complete absence of color & F being complete color. The first 2 digits of the Hex Code represent red, the next 2, green & the next 2 blue. So by combining red, green & blue you can create any color (think of it as a paint palette).
To create Orange the Hex Code is... <"FF9933">
By putting the highest amount of red ~FF, a medium amount of green ~99 & a very small amount of blue ~33 you create a particular shade of orange.
Now, about backgrounds... Making a particular color background for your website is as simple as following the Hex Code explenation above.
<BODY BGCOLOR="######"> This is the command for background color, with ###### being the Hex Code. Just input the code for the color you want and BAM! You've got yourself a colorful website!
The process of using images for your background is a little different so listen up! ;-) First of all the command:-

Now, if you put this command in you are HOPELESS!
You need to put the location of the image (either .gif or .jpeg) you wish to use in to the area I put "file location". Once you've done that you should get that same image mapped over the background. Meaning it won't just be a single, LARGE image, it will be a small image continuously layed across the page. Simple Huh?
Roller Blading has become a fun and exciting hobby to me and one of the things that makes it so fun is, the more you blade the better you get. The past few days I have gone blading at least once a day and I have become 100% more confident & I've learned a couple new tricks (Hey! So you can teach an old dog new tricks.-Ed.).
I have learnt to blade backward which is a fun and useful skill. Also my girl friend, Alice (Hi Angel!)taught me a spin transition from blading forward to blading backward, which is quite fun, and if done right you can keep all the speed you had while blading forward!
I feel that the main diffeculty of Roller Blading is fear. Fear makes doing something that should be easy, nearly impossible. Take for example a ramp... I was afraid to go down a ramp about 3 to 4 feet off the ground! After a while I forced myself to go down it and it was incredibly easy not to mention FUN!
Now that I've gotten over that fear I have been able to go up and down that ramp, speed up the next one and fly down it! I used to be weary of a skate park, now i say, BRING IT ON!
