Joe Satriani - The Guitarists guitarist

Joe Satriani is credited as being the man who taught many of todays greatest players including Steve Vai and Metallica's Kirk Hammett.

Joe is one of my personal favourites as he chooses to play in a more melodic style, rather than just show off his technique.  Although his technique is dazzling, but he employs a more lyrical style to his playing.
