Interview with The Kliq

Brady   Welcome tonight I'm very fortunate to have Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash here with me. You have had a very impressive debut, in your first match you defeat Da Union and in your first PPV you win the Tag Team Championship. Are you surprised by this.

HBK   That question has popped u a lot, Brady. The answer is NO! We knew it would happen. Neither of us doubted the other.

Nash   I think that instead of us being surprised, the world was surprised that it happened, and that it happened so quickly.

Brady   We saw that during the Chaggy-Tear Cage match that you guys were teaming with Triple H, is he with you or against you?

Nash   That Son-Of-A-B*tch…

HBK   Hold it, Big Guy. Yes H}{H and I worked together and if you asked me, it was nice. It reminded me of what all three of us have been through together. So when he eliminated me, it also reminds me that in to be the man, you have to beat the man. And he chose to beat Nash, the biggest man he could.

Nash   Hunter started all this. I doubt it if he’s gonna like what comes from it.

HBK   Honestly, we thought about asking H}{H to join with us. So we could all raise hell together. But he hasn’t done anything that impressive to make us want to work side by side with him…

Nash   Again.

Brady   We have learned that RVD has joined The Kliq, is there anybody else that you have extended an invite to join the Kliq?

HBK   I don’t see anyone else right now that we feel could handle it.

Nash   There’s more to being in the Kliq than what meets the eye. We only look for people who can not only kick ass, but also hold a title. People with potential. Rob has a lot of that. And another big important thing is personality. You know, the Kliq of the old and new days, and we raise all types of hell and it’s fun. Not only is the Kliq’s style represented through us, but our separate ventures also.

HBK   In other words, you see a mixture of New World Order and DeGeneration X with a new twist, from our experience.

Brady   You have captured the Tag Team Championship, if you could defend the title against any current team in the eWF who would it be and why?

Nash   I, personally, don’t care. We’re the best and that means… Well there is one team. Shawn, you remember In your house back in 1995 or 1996, when we fought Owen and Yokozuna.

HBK   Yea. That was one hell of a match. For the Tag, World, and Intercontinental Championships.

Nash   Well, I for one would like to have that sort of match again, with Chaggy and Kurt Angle for the Tag, World and Afterlife Championships.

Brady  Now if you could defend against any team in the history of wrestling who would it be and why?

HBK   I’d like to face The Rockers (both the new and old Rockers) and I’d like to face us in our first run as tag team champions. Oh, and the Hardy Boys. I have a lot of respect for them and what they did to the tag team division in the late nineties. In our day, we barely had a shot at a No Dq tag title defense. Those cats revolutionized this division.

Nash   I’d like to face The Outsiders, Me and Scott, and the Hart Foundation (Bret and Owen).

Brady   Are you surprised how well you did in your first Chaggy-Tear Cage?

HBK   The only surprises we had in that match were that we didn’t win it.

Nash   Yep, that’s about it.

Brady   Nash this question is for you, if you could have any partner except Shawn, who would it be and why?

Nash   I think that if Shawn wasn’t around, I’d just be one-dimensional. I’d be world renowned for single’s glory. Instead of both Singles and Tag success. I wouldn’t be comfortable in that ring trusting anyone else.

Brady   HBK same question

HBK   Well, I do know one other person.

Nash   WHO??

HBK   Big Daddy Cool…Diesel. (Shawn and Kevin laugh)

Brady   Who would you say is the biggest threat to your Tag Team Championship?

HBK   Time.

Nash   Eventually, we’re gonna have to step aside and pass the torch. But until that time’s come, we’re here to stay and so are our titles.

Brady  If you don't Mind I would like to do some Word Associations.

Nash   We don't mind

HBK   One hell of a Champion.

Nash   A soon to be dethroned Champion by one of the Kliq. With all due respect, of course.

HBK   TOUGH!!!! One of my most physical title defenses was against him in the WWE.

Nash   Legend.

Brady   The Undertaker

HBK   RESPECT. One of my pinpoint matches in my career was against that very man in the Hell in a Cell. And in that match respect was earned on both ends.

HBK   (starts singing the national anthem)

Nash   Upcoming Legend.

HBK   Wrestler.

Nash   Just another wrestler backstage. We haven’t really paid that much attention to DVD. No offense.

HBK   Former Champion. (laughs)

Nash   Tough opponent.

HBK   Ex-Champion. (laughs)

Nash   Same.

HBK   He Lost!

Nash   Out of place. He came from nowhere in our match.

Brady   The Sentinel

HBK   Didn’t Win.

Nash   No tag title.

Brady   Road Dogg

HBK   Failure. He dropped the ball after the previous HBK’s resignation. DX was such a powerful group, and him and Xpac didn’t take it to where it could’ve been.

Nash   Rap

Brady   Charlie Hass

HBK   Another rookie making waves like his partner.

Nash   More dues to pay.

Brady   is there something that your partner can do that you can't do

HBK   Nash has the strength to pick up 300 and 400 pound men and throw them like a rag doll. Look at his finisher. That Jackknife is one hell of a move. He’s also used the chokeslam back in the day, and the men he’s lifted over his head are not light. He did some amazing stuff in his fued with The Undertaker and the Giant (aka Big Show). I don’t think I could jackknife those men.

Nash   To be honest, I’m not going to jump off of anything. Shawn’s crazy ass will jump off of anything for the fans. You will not catch Kevin Nash jumping off of a semi onto nobody. I’ll throw them off of it, but I’m not jumping off of it.

Brady   To jump back a few questions The Chaggy-Tear cage has caused a lot of wrestlers to have career ending injuries as far as you know have you suffered any injuries because of this match.

HBK   If we had any, we wouldn’t tell. That would be like throwing a bloody fish in a shark tank.

Nash   It would only take a few seconds for the shark to catch on and tear it limb from limb.

Brady   Chaggy and TLOD had one hell of a match in that Steel Warrior Match which is easily going to be Match of the Year, First would you ever do that match?

HBK   HBK pioneered the start of this breed of matches with the iron man match. I ‘d love to get into the ring and fight it out with someone.

Nash   Sure, why not?

Brady   Second did you like the match

HBK   That match had a lot of stuff happening and it was definitely one to be appreciated.

Nash   That match left anyone speechless.

Brady   And Third how tough do you have to be to complete in the X-Treme Steel Warrior Match

HBK   AS NAILS!!! I know from my Iron Man Match. It takes a lot to last through all those falls. And to think, there are different stipulations, so you know that it takes a lot. Only a real man would dare fight that match.

Nash   That match will make or break you, it’s simple as that.

Brady   We know that The New Plan holds a lot of titles, will the Kliq try to go after those titles or just wait until The New Plan loses those titles?

HBK   The Kliq waits on no one. Hell, if Big Sexy here had the title I wanted, I’d go right after it. As a matter of fact, this is a warning, we’re gunning for you New Plan.

Nash   Respect is one thing. Titles are another. We definitely have our eyes on their titles. We’re just biding our time.

HBK   Anticipation makes the heart grow fonder. When it’s time to strike, we will. I hope you’ll be ready New Plan.

Brady   Who would win in a fight Shawn Michaels or Kevin Nash?

HBK   That’s such a dangerous question to ask an insecure tag team. But, we’re not insecure so here goes. I think that the match would last a long time and that the winner would win by count out or some other default.

Nash   We’ve been working together for over a decade now. We know each other to well. It’d be a matter of who got lucky and pressed the right button.
