Well, I'm an aspiring comic artist who hopes to be a bit more the just a fan artist. It takes quiet a bit to piss me off or a lack of decent reasoning ability. I'm a normally quiet guy and I'd rather people like me than dislike me... or atleast have no opinion of me rather than a bad one. Read on, look around the site then decide for yourself.
What's with the goofy name, 'Alpha2'?
Most people adopt online names, I had a pseudonym (fake name) for projects I wasn't sure I wanted to be associated with yet. I used it in chat rooms when I first started using the internet and eventually that's the name most people online recognized me with. It comes from the series of Street Figther Alpha video games (A.k.A. 'Zero' in Japan) I thought it just sounded cool. At one point it was EXAlpha2 (Street Fighter EX+Alpha is another game, using 3D graphics) but now that's only when I'm not the only one with the name.
Your site doesnt have a guest book or a BBS/forum, what's up with that?
Simple, my approach to the site is to try an make things easy for you and me. I made this site mainly to share my artwork and frankly, I don't need 'em! I don't have time to moderate a forum and I dont feel I need to show everyone else what you think of me with a guest book that people probably won't bother writing in (I know I don't often bother). I'd rather go to other peoples forums to post, and if you really want to say somthing, Do like I do, send an Email, it's lots more personal and I'll appriciate it more. I reply to all my Email.
I think your site design (a)is cool (b)sucks the big root, where'd you learn HTML?
Most everything I've done here I learned for the books Dummies:101 HTML and Websites That Suck, also I use the source code option of Internet Explorer to "examine" other peoples site programing. And then there's just plain old observation.

Yeah, Yeah I know.I have a wierd schedual... I goof off randomly... so it's hard to say when I'll get off my butt and finish all the art I have. If it helps I AM trying to get myself on a monthly pace but who knows if it'll happen!
Why do you use link banners instead of simple text links?
This is an art intensive site, and I think they look cool. Besides, why shouldn't I show some type of example of where you're going. Some banners are interesting works of art too!
I'm an artist also, can you give me a few pointers?
Gladly, and I try to help as much as I can for what its worth, but I'm only human and I'm not a very good teacher because I ramble on a lot and the way I learned was from alot of experimenting. Feel free to ask a question, but there are great tutorials you can learn from online too.
Who are your influences?
Anyone that dosen't suck. Too many artists, American to Japanese, have influenced my work to be able to name them all. Thankfully, I don't think I'm aping anyone right now, atleast not sevearly. In the link section there are dozens of artists who I respect or admire from the worldwide online artistic community.
Whats with the all those violent pictures?
A friend once asked me this and to tell the truth I didn't notice it, but I do admit alot of things I draw are based on action oriented themes and things like anime and video games where, let's face it, the most interesting ones are the ones with the most conflict!
Why do you draw so many girl characters?
I'm a relativly healthy, young, hetrosexual male. I like looking at attaractive females, sue me.
Do you draw Hentai/Adult material?
As an artist you have to be able to draw alot of things. Sometimes, in the course of work, it's not something you can avoid. Even if I have drawn it, you wont see any of it here. Geocities don't like dat. Additionaly, I don't try play up the smut angle. I prefer something artistic or fun.

Can you draw something for me, are you availible for comission?
I don't usually do work on commission because between my job and doing my own things I have very little extra time and energy, but I'm willing to listen to proposals and depending on what I can fit into my schedual, whether or not I like the project, your enthusiasm and the monetary reward, I might be able to fit you in.
