Barb McLean, Dipl. Behavioral Sciences, B.Sc. Psych., M. Ed.(c)
The Excel Center welcomes Barb McLean to our counselling staff. Barb has a vast realm of experience and education on which to rely on, as well as possessing intuitive interpersonal skills. Barb has attended Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta where she completed her General Arts and Science Diploma, majoring in Behavioral Sciences. Barb also attended the University of Calgary earning the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Presently, she is completing her thesis requirements for her Master's in Education with a major in counselling from the University of Northern B.C. situated in Prince George, B.C.
Barb is a personable and knowledgeable counsellor. Some of Barb's areas of specialty are Solution Focused Brief Therapy, adult, family, and personal counselling. Barb's masters thesis focuses on areas of bereavement. A caring and understanding nature that Barb possesses will lead to engaging and fulfilling counselling sessions for her clients.
