This question has been more or less avoided many times over the past few evenings following the protests in Quebec against the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) Meetings and in Cincinatti where the people were protesting the police murdering of an unarmed black man, by burning and looting downtown Cincinatti. (Okay, maybe the last example was a bit out of hand.. because boosting a new Zenith isn’t going to “emancipate yourself from mental slavery”. Nonetheless it ain’t really fucking the man either!! But this is an entirely different debate!)
When it came down to event coverage. The commercial media being the pussies that they are, didn’t use the sort of unsophisticated tongues that ol’ Groovy speaks in.. Nor did they have the balls to really address what all the fuss is about. In fact for a bunch of Columbia and Ivy League school graduates they seemed pretty fucking naive when it came right down to it. Which really reaffirms my belief that Columbia is a great school for text book journalism but really sucks shit when it comes to unbiased documentation of events. Sure the C-Grad hacks can come up with some well scripted “entertainment that’s fit enough to pose as news”. The million and one assholes across this nation that do except this fodder for fact and substance, will devour it, fart and then move on! SO, why should I rain on their parade?? Because they are emptying their assholes, colostomies and bladders on each and every one of us!!
If you didn’t look at the riots in Quebec and see HOPE then the media has won. If you didn’t see the possibility of the exploitation of North American shitworkers coming to end, then the corrupt Unionists, Corporate Lobbyists, and shit sucking Politicians have won. We’ve been talking about this from the get go in Revolutionary 101, you can’t trust the bastards. They might seem really cool and entice you with a lot of macro-flashy nonsense but the undercoating still has to be revealed.
I discussed the idea last issue of there truly being NO FUTURE FOR YOU! and how we as a movement have accepted this doom peacefully and have somewhat championed it by making it our battle cry. That’s fucked up, plain and simple!! Well... before I get ahead of myself... maybe you’re a nihilist and really plan on crashing and burning...So the slogan really works great for you.. but if you’re expecting on getting over the hump and living past 30 then you have some realities that you are going to have to deal with.
If you plan on living in a borderless poverty state then say YAY for the FTAA. If you want to watch the sub standard conditions that exist for many working people in this country being driven even further into the cesspool than keep your lips zipped. Say nothing.. do nothing... let the bastards grind you down. Finally when your health is that shitty then perhaps give the ol’ doctor a call. Maybe he can arrange a warm cozy cot on which you can rot.
Imagine the most impoverished areas on this continent and realize those can easily become our own. What millionaires will do to keep their hands on their stash... is really astounding. How many lives were slaughtered in Nam?? What was that all about? We had to clear the killing fields so the $$$ could build new factories in which to make their goods. BRAVO brothas and sistas! You think Gates or some other multibillionare cocksucker wouldn’t be willing to finance a new war?? Another situation rising like a bad 80s flash back (no, I’m not talking about the last My Favorite, Radio 4 gig at Brownies- just kidding guys!!) is the interest in investing billions of dollars in resurrecting and overhauling the missle defense systems originally designed during the Reagan Administration. Amerikkka’s favorite walking zombie Bonzo Reagan concocted the “Star Wars” defense system and now Americans want to honor the living dead by showing a 54% approval (according to some CNN poll) rating for something, that is still a theoretical sketch. If you are 15 or 16, you might want to have your parents blood work examined because there’s a chance that you might have descended from assholes.
That’s exactly what this country needs. The wealthy have decided that the economy is going sour. CEOs notice this when they can’t get as many whores and cocaine as they did the previous quarter. SO disseminate through the ranks about a huge military build up in a region of the world that most Americans are too fucking dumb to locate on the map. They did this during the cold war. The CIA mistook repainted tanks and missle carriers for a new line of Soviet Weaponry. Since we’ve exhausted crying wolf in that part of the world, our fears are placed back into The Mid East.
