Welcome to the Exeter Young Strings website. 

E.Y.S. was set up with the aim of enabling all children to pursue their love of music and to develop their musical potential to its full.

I Like Exeter Young Strings!

I have been involved with Exeter Young Strings for two years.

I started with Music Awareness. I enjoyed it because I had lots of friends there and I like singing. I liked all the rhythms too.

After Music Awareness I chose to start learning the cello. I have individual lessons and I play with a group. I like the group lesson best because there are friends to play the same part as me.

Every term there is a concert and I like the concert because everybody hears me play and I hear everyone else play too. After the concert we have a buffet tea which is yummy.
