They had been married for 48 years. Loretta is a country musician, singer, and songwriter.

Clara had 18 Bro's and sis's. She had a twin sister - Mattie whom died at the age of 43 with leukemia. Clara died at the age of 68 with lung cancer. Most of her family is deceased. She only has a few siblings that are still living. They are as follows: James Edward Ramey-age 83- Kentucky; Callie Jewell Ramey-Age 66- Paintsville, Kentucky; and Garnett Rose Ramey Horn-age 62-Lancaster, Ohio.
