Dad was from Auxier (see blue circle - north) and mom was from Orkney (see red circle - south) when they met. Both were very small towns.
Update: Correction - Mom was born in McDowell, not Orkney.
I was born in Martin at Beaver Valley Hospital (see yellow circle - center). Orkney and McDowell had no hospital of its own when I was born. Now McDowell has one.
