Grumman
40mm Heavy Anti-Aircraft Cannon
|
For years
Grumman has manufactured heavy cannons for combat fighters and
bombers. There experience in this market virtually assured them
arms contracts for years to come. However with the development of
Exo’s the arms market shifter and Grumman now found themselves
is a competitive situation the likes of which they had never
before seen. Soon after the Exo’s rolled off the assembly line
Grumman began development on a new class of weapons. Retooling a
few of their plants to manufacture Exo weapons, Grumman introduced
the Heavy Anti-Aircraft Cannon (HAAC) in an attempt to once again
solidify their hold on their share of the arms market.
