Campaign Objective: Smuggle
Smuggling
objective might sound like an illegal operation, and some of them are.
But some of them pertain to military operation and even humanitarian
operations. Whatever the purpose of the mission they all hinges on one
thing, the successful import of the item without being caught, and the
items subsequent distribution. Personnel:
Smuggling personnel can mean many things to many people. Criminal
sometimes smuggle immigrants into countries to be used as sweatshop
laborers. Other times they smuggle people into a country to protect them
from other people in other countries. Military personnel sometimes
smuggle operatives into an area or witness out of an enemy held camp.
The key to the success of this mission is to operate as quickly, quietly
and covertly as possible. Drugs
(Legal/Illegal): Smuggling illegal drugs has proven to be a
multi-billion dollar a year industry, however the smuggling of legal
drugs is not nearly as well known. Your mission could be to bring in
much needed medicine into an enemy held area. For whatever reasons enemy
forces control the medicine and many people are suffering because of it.
Your job is to ease their suffering by bringing them the medicine they
need. On the flip side of the legal coin perhaps you are a professional
smuggler being contracted to smuggle contraband drugs into or out of a
country. Supplies:
You have been order to smuggle supplies into a controlled area. You may
be bringing relief supplies to an allied unit trapped inside enemy
territory. Or you could be brining supplies to a poverty stricken
community under the heal of a local crime lord or dictator. Whatever the
circumstances you must bring in the needed supplies without detection,
if you are found out the person responsible will tighten their hold and
crush those you seek to help. Explosives:
You must smuggle explosives and demolition charges into a sensitive
area. The ultimate purpose of the explosives is someone else’s
problem. Yours is determining the best type of explosive needed,
procuring it, and then finding a way to get it to its destination. Your
job could be as simple as locating and smuggling dynamite, or a little
more challenging, plastic explosive. Perhaps the security is tight and
you will have to smuggle in binary explosive compounds meaning that you
will have to make multiple incursions, and not be caught. Equipment:
You receive a radio distress signal from an allied unit. They are caught
behind enemy lines and their machines have taken heavy damage. The only
way they are going to make it out is if they get replacement parts and
get their machines working again. You job is to get the part they need,
and then get them to the unit. Depending on their location you could
have to portage a jungle, parachute behind enemy lines, sneak into an
enemy held city through storm sewers or make a beachhead landing on
enemy terrain. The successful completion of the mission will be
delivering the equipment to those who need it and getting out alive. Information:
While operating covertly in enemy territory another spy possess you
sensitive documents before he or she is killed. It is your mission to
get the documents out of the area and back to your own people for
interpretation. The information passed could be as small as microdots or
as large as computer disks, or even bigger. You must evade capture
yourself; especially once they determine that the other spy does not
have the information on him. You will have to brave checkpoints and
searches as you try to escape with the information. In terms of game
settings this scenario could take place in a corporate setting, military
campaign or country settings. |
