STP-76
'Hydra' Sub-fighter Torpedo Pod
|
The
Hydra Torpedo Pod is a self contained torpedo and launch system.
Each pod contains 14 short ranged unguided defensive torpedoes.
Although the Hydra is not overly powerful on its own, a salvo of
these tiny torpedoes can prove exceptionally deadly, to both
Sub-Fighters and larger Capital Ships. When equipped, the carrying
vessel usually carries a pair of fire-control slaved pods that
target, fire and operate as one weapon system.
