6. Replace the color description "Tabby and white" in it's entirety with the following:

PROPOSED: Break out Individual colors

RED TABBY AND WHITE (including vans) (classic, mackerel and spotted)

BROWN TABBY & WHITE (including vans) (classic, mackerel and spotted)

PATCHED TABBY & WHITE (including vans) (all currently established patched tabby patterns in classic, mackerel and spotted with the addition of white)

OTHER TABBY & WHTTE (including vans) (all currently established tabby patterns with the exception of red, brown and patched tabby, in classic, mackerel and spotted with the addition of white)

CURRENT: TABBY & WHITE (including vans) (Tabby & White or Patched Tabby & White in all the current Classic, Mackerel, Patched and Spotted Tabby patterns with the addition of White)

RATIONALE: This separation of color with white keeps in line with the changes made to the Persian standard. Our increased class sizes also warrant such a change.

7. Change the description of the COAT as follows:

PROPOSED: "COAT" dense, plush, and full of life. Standing out from the body due to a rich, thick undercoat. Medium in length with emphasis on density and plushness. Cats with a ruff or tail feathers shall be transferred to the AOV class.

AOV Exotic Longhair COAT: Long and thick standing off from the body. Long all over the body, including the shoulder, Full ruff with frill between the front legs. Ear and toe tufts. Tail hair hangs off and is very full.

CURRENT: "COAT" dense, plush, soft and full of life. Standing out from the body due to a rich, thick undercoat. Medium in length. Acceptable length depends on proper undercoat. Cats with a ruff or tail feathers (long hair on the tail) shall be transferred to the AOV Class.

RATIONALE: Emphasis on Exotic coats should be in their dense, plush and full of life condition and not on the "exact length". Some colors as well as some breedings produce different lengths and all are acceptable so long as they do not meet the coat description of the AOV Longhair Exotic.
