I purchased my first Exotic in 1995 and produced my first Exotic litter in 1996. In that litter was my first Exotic show kitten, GC/RW Mabuhay Beefcake. I loved the personality and sweet look of this cuddly breed and so continue to breed and exhibit Exotics, along with a few Persians and British Shorthairs. My Cat Fancy experience didn’t begin with Exotics, however. My cattery name, Mabuhay, was registered in CFA in 1975 and since that time I have raised and exhibited a number of breeds, including Balinese, Siamese, Somalis, Abyssinians, Chartreux, Japanese Bobtails, British Shorthairs, Persians and, of course, Exotics! I have produced two National Winning Somalis and many Grands and Regional Winners in most of the breeds with which I have worked. I am in the CFA Judging Program and am currently a Double Specialty Judge, which affords me the opportunity to see people and cats all over the country. I currently live in Texas but will shortly be moving to Pensacola, Florida. I hold a BBA and MPA (both in Accounting) from The University of Texas at Austin and am recently retired from a successful career as Corporate Controller for a Fortune 500 company.
