| What is Pashmina? |
Pashmina, a fabric obtained from Himalayan goats unique to
the Himalayan region of Nepal, Tibet and India, is the softest wool in
nature. The wool is as light and warm as it is soft. Unlike other types of
wool which are bulky and scratchy, pashmina is feather light, soft, and
smooth, giving you the warmth of a heavy coat with the feel of a wispy
cloud. |
| What are One-Ply and Two-Ply shawls? |
Plies are strands of a yarn twisted together to make one
piece of yarn. Two-ply is thicker than one-ply. We normally use one-ply
yarn which are lighter and finer than two-ply. |
| What are the contents of
Pashmina and Silk in your Pashminas? |
We usually made pashminas in two variations in
content.
- 70% Pashmina / 30% Silk
- 60% Pashmina / 40% Silk
All our pashmina shawls are hand made by skilled craftmen which
involves intricate hand processes. This makes it difficult to keep the
content exactly same from shawl to shawl, a little variation is a quality
of a handmade shawls. |
| What are regular sizes? |
We can make shawls in any size if ordered in volume. But for
small quantities (less than 100), it will cost more because the loom need
to be readjusted.
Our regular sizes are
- 36" x 81"
- 28" x 80"
- 12" x 60"

| What types of fringes do you make? |
We make variety of fringes including twisted, beaded,
interweaven to make into patterns like diamond, net, or as required. The
fringes are usually 2 to 4 inches long. |
| What color standard do you follow?. Does the color on your
website exactly match with the final product? |
We follow Pantone Color chart, and we do have our own color
chart which contains small pieces of pashmina in different colors.
All our shawls are hand dyed, so a color variation of +/- 5% in
natural. The color you see on you computer monitor also depends on the
color depth of your monitor, so it may not reflect the true color. |
| Do you make beaded and embroidered
shawls? |
Yes we do make beaded and embroidered shawls. We have some
regular patterns and we can also do other patterns if designs are
provided. |
| What other pashmina products you make? |
Currently we are making shawl, stole, scarf and muffler. But
we are open for any custom order of a product. |
| Do you have a show room in US? |
Currently we do not have a show room, but we are looking for
retailers around the world. However, you can contact our representative in
US for further information. |
