SING YOUR SONG AFRICAN MAN

Children carried away to a foreign land

Be not dishearten to sing your song in this strange land

Whether you are singing as a brave American

Or whether you're singing as a courageous West Indian

No matter if you might be scattered on the motherland

Of if from Island to Island, you choose to roam

In whatever country you choose to home

With all your heart, Oh sing your song you African man

Children imposed upon with a foreign tongue

Be not ashamed to claim Africa a the Royal Crown

No matter what language you may speak, always remember to honor

your roots, speak your peace with dignity

Africa will always be out mother tongue wither her we'll have an affinity

Like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Marcus "Messiah" Garvey, Mohammed

Ali, and Brother Bob Marley, Lift your head up high and sing your song as a proud African. You as a people have more music in your veins than any other man

Never be afraid to sing your song of unity and of redemption

Sing your song African man!
