What is EXTRA?
EXTRA is a slow club: a fix of slow sound for fast times.
We are a self-organising group generating original combinations of relaxed sound and image.
EXTRA DJs cut, paste, combine and recycle to create unforeseen sonic mutations. EXTRA is more than the sum of the parts: minimalism and tape experiments, 4th world, classic Ambient tones, soundscaping and collage, sine wave workouts, bass, beats and digital detritus.
Sounds, images and films at EXTRA come from IMAX, Albert, DATAMATH (Ladytron) and Jay Ropinsky (Geist, Berlin).
