Giordano Bruno Or Guru Nanak Dev Ji???
I bet, that if I ask you who was the first person to realize that the Universe
was unlimited, you would reply that it was Giordano Bruno.... However, was he
the first one to state/write this ??? I DON'T THINK SO
.
Let go back in time and see what's happened, In Giordano's time, and in Guru
Nanak Dev Ji's time
Giordano Bruno was a Monk/scientist/astronomer, who published many of his theories/discoveries
about cosmos during the late 1500 hundredths. According to some articles (in
modern magazines), it has been published that he was the first astronomer, to
discover that the Universe was unlimited.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji, was the first Guru of the Sikhs (Guru means teacher, in Panjabi.
They took the name of Guru, because they didn't want any ego in themselves,
because the gurus, where according to the people living during that era, God
born in a an human body, who brought back courage to the people. The times in
India were very bad, the Mugals, had taken over India, and no one dared to speak
against them. Guru Nanak Dev Ji, was the first one to speak against the Mugals.
Slowly the mugal forces began to weaken, when the religion (Sikhism)began developing).
Guru Nanak Dev ji lived from 1469-1539. He travelled a lot, and told the message
of god, to everyone, without, concern of his religion/Caste or Race, because
according to him, god didn't see which Religion/Caste of race, a person has.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji, wrote Prayers. One of the morning prayers is called, Jap
Ji Sahib where, "Jap" is the prayers name, and "Ji Sahib"
are just words of respect. Jap ji Sahib, is split into 38 different parts. In
the 22nd part, it says:
There are many more such examples, where science is behind, in time and says the same thing some hundreds years later.
That's basically proves that Giordano Bruno wasn't the first person to realize
that the world was unlimited. Because the following "lines" (sentences)
come in our (the Sikhs) daily morning prayer
I suppose many Scientist aren't aware of this, because, most scientists are
"white", and I PERSONALLY believe that it would be very hard for them
to realize that a "non-white" religious Guru ("non-scientist, astronomer"), discovered this, so
after reading this they probably boycotted this.........
Here is a picture of The Sikh's religios symbol...with a planet or some other celestial in the middle,
and the text in Panjabi it says:
"Paataalaa paataal lakh aagaasaa aagaas."
Meaning: There are worlds beneath still below, Skies above, many millions to know....
