Cloned Cows?

Cloned cows are scientist next goal…
Scientists are experimenting to clone cows, which will make the cheese more efficient.
What is Casein?
Casein is a protein, which comes from milk, and is used to produce Cheese, plastics, cheese paint other foods.
In only four-year time, a major portion of the world's cheese production will come from cloned cows.
According to the scientist from the New Zealander libratory AgResearch, they have now succeeded to cloned 11 cows, and in addition added extra genes, which will be passed on during inheritance. These extra genes will lead to a production of the milk protein casein, and thus the milk produced from the cloned cows, will contain a multiple amount of more casein. This is also a benefit, for the economy, for the Cheese industry. First the goals have to be reached, cloning a multiple amount of cows. It has been showed that 9 of the 11 cows has increased the production of casein between 8 - 20 percent.

However, it would take at least around 5- years for this “super cheese”, to begin being used in normal grocery stores. The scientist consider that they need around four years to breed a generation of bulls that have two copies of the chromosome with the extra genes. Until now only females, have been cloned so far. This is considered being the biggest, and most profitable, cloning done. Now what about safely? yet no researches has been done weather the food from the cows can be consumed safely. Many countries, including Britain and the United States are considering whether or not food from cloned animals is safe for humans to consume. Until further researches, this research remains a mystery, weather it would be safe to consume food from cloned animals or not. I personally believe that, after, cloning the cows a couple of times, the scientist, would get more experience, and get the food, to become healthier, and healthier, and in the end the risk of catching any disease from the cloned cow would probably reduce, IF it turns out that the consumer CAN get infected.
