Neurofibromatosis
Hello
My name is Dr. Singh, and I am a specialist with the disease
called, Neurofibromatosis. I will now, explain the Symptoms,
and the eventual treatments of Neurofibromatosis.
Here is a picture of a Neurofibromatosis patient.
Neurofibromatosis patient - partially treated
First, I would like to state that there are two types of Neurofibromatosis. We have done research on the first one, which is about 90% of the cases.
As probably, notices you can see that a neurofibromatosis, patient suffers from neurofibroma being produced all over the body. Neurofibroma, are small spots which often are referred as café au lait-spots because, of that they have the same color as the French coffee café au lait. These spots can appear on any part of the body, and can begin to be produced at a very small age. It is also very important to mention that the spots occur regardless if the person is very healthy and fit or unwell, and unhealthy.
Some problems with the iris, which is the round colored part that surrounds the eye has also been noticed, being affected, and having disorder. Meaning the vision can be damaged, if you are suffering from Neurofibromatosis.
Treatment:
Now I will speak about the treatment, of Neurofibromatosis. There is no specific
treatment for neurofibromatosis; however there is a surgery treatment, which
is a laser therapy, which is necessary, for people who get pain from the café
au lait spots. So thus, the surgery is only recommended if the patient has a
great pain, and with the therapy, as you will now se, the café au lait
spots disappear.
Here is a picture, of a body, which is suffering from neurofibromatosis, and another body, which has been through a therapy.
