PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME YOUR HIGHEST OFFER AT: Supra@300zxClub.com or call 910-540-7223 or 910-575-7223...if the car doesn't sale in 10 days, I will consider lower offers.
This Near-Flawless low mileage 1994 Supra Twin Turbo (VIN# JT2JA82J2R0015000) is Super Black with Tan leather interior. It has only 43,000 miles a perfectly clean title! I have MANY more detailed pictures I can email you if you are interested, just email me. The factory 2JZ-GTE 3.0L Twin Turbo is rated at 320 horsepower, but numerous dyno tests show that factory Supras have around 300 HP @ wheels (350 HP @ crank.) Has It has factory polished wheels (with NO curb marks) off a 1998 Supra Turbo with the original out-of-production Michelin MXX3SX tires (which are now called Michelin Pilot Sports.) The cylinder compression test yielded the following results: #1 =169, #2 =165, #3 =166, #4 =169, #5 =168,#6 =160. The Supra has every option (auto climate control, CD/tape/equalizer, 7 speaker sound system w/ factory subwoofer, traction control, etc.) It is a targa top, doesn't appear to have been smoked in (ashtray not stained and no burns in carpet), NO shakes/vibrations on interstate or when braking. I just got the car 2 weeks ago to resale because it was so nice...selling to buy a Viper GTS for the summer. It has the factory shock sensor alarm along with a dealer-installed glass breakage sensor with remote. The interior is FLAWLESS except for a couple small dirty spots under the floormat that will shampoo out (I have more pictures I can show you...leather seats look like they only have 10k miles on them, dash looks new. The center dash piece on Supras scratches kind of easily, this one is PERFECT) To my knowledge the Supra has never seen the track, a dyno, or had the boost turned up on it. The first owner who owned the car for 90% of it's life was a female. Doesn't smoke, leak or use any fluids (you know how a lot of Supras have a tiny puff of smoke at start-up and when accelerating from a dead stop? This one doesn't do it.) I have some maintanence records. Has an automatic transmission with MANUAL mode. Shifts very firm and doesn't bounce off of rev-limiter between shifts (transmission is in great shape.) If you are concerned with mechanical issues being a problem (although they are not), be aware that this Supra is such low mileage that it qualifies for Toyota's Factory Extended Service Warranty. This 4 year/50000 mile Bumper-to-Bumper warranty with $0 deductible can be purchased at select Toyota dealers for about $1600 and is honored at ANY Toyota dealership nationwide (I can give you the phone number to a dealer that sales them in Chattanooga, TN near my home town.)
After taking delivery of this Supra, I did the following maintanence using my factory Supra repair manual's recommendations/procedures....I changed the following in the past 500 miles: spark plugs (I kept the stock plugs which are in great shape and normal color...can get pics), fuel filter (Toyota), PCV valve/hose (Toyota), air filter (Toyota), Mobil-1 10w30 synthetic oil with K&N oil filter, fuel injection system cleaned, & new wiper blades (have receipts for all.) I also inspected the following and found ABSOLUTELY NO problems: Timing belt not due until 60k miles (was inspected anyway and in great shape), computer was scanned for any engine troble codes (none stored), transmission fluid/filter/pan gasket recently replaced, EGR filter, EVAP canister operation, fuel cap/gasket, coolant in good shape and full, differential fluid (clean & full), suspension-to-frame bolt's torque.
I won't buy a Supra unless it meets a certain level of quality I look for. I have owned 6 Supra Twin Turbos, so I know what to look for when buying one and how to take care of them. In my opinion they are the BEST mix of luxury, daily driveability, and performance you will find! My first Supra dynoed almost 500 crank horsepower/over 500 crank torque with about $1000 in easy bolt-on parts, could outrun Viper's on the interstate, and was still as driveable as when it was stock. It only take a straight exhaust and a boost controller to make a Supra have around 400 HP @ wheels RELIABLY (475 HP @ crank.) Considering I have had 5 other Supras in the past I have no desire to drive this car hard, as I already know what it is capable of.
As I stated earlier, the Supra has a clean title. You will not find a nicer 1994 Supra that is ORIGINAL out there than this one. Black Supras are usually all swirled up badly and show every scratch, but this paint is BEAUTIFUL! It looks like black glass. The car is FULLY detailed inside/out/underhood, so all you have to do is add high quality wax (I use Zaino Bros) every couple months. The headlights are perfect...not scratched up, no yellowing/hazing, and no condensation inside of them. The interior and engine bay are FLAWLESS and the underside of the car is very clean. The CARFAX report on this car is perfectly clean, check for yourself if you like. The car has never been in an accident, but there was a tiny scuff on the rear bumper that was repainted (very small, only cost $140, have receipt.) You cannot tell at all that the spot was repainted. There are also a few *VERY VERY* tiny door dimples (not scratched) that could ALL easily be massaged out using paintless dent repair (metal rods are used to massage the dent out from the inside WITHOUT using body filler or repainting...usually like $75 for first dent, $25 for each additional dent.) Don't let this scare you, the paint is not scratched where the dimples are and you have to stand in front or behind the car and look very carefully down the side to see them (again, I can email you close-up pictures.) The 3rd and final MINOR flaw is that the front license plate holes were filled in and touch up paint was applied over the filler. Again, it doesn't stand out or anything, you have to know where it is to notice it (if your state requires a front tag, this won't matter as you can just have the holes drilled back out again.) I had a local body shop and mechanic look at the car for a 2nd opinion and they can tell you it is a near-perfect car. I have many other pictures I can show you that are close-ups and show the true beauty of the car...nothing to hide here! A few Supra owners in North Carolina have seen the car and can attest to it's quality (Weiyan on Supraforums, Dan Blackwell on Supraforums, Corby on DSMtalk, etc.)
I own a auto shop and will sale the person who buys this car any performance parts they want at wholesale prices. Please feel free to email me your highest offer, but right now I am asking $24,900 obo to end the eBay auction, which is fair given the condition of the car (come see it for yourself, or I will be happy to take to a local dealer for inspection, like I said I have nothing to hide about this gem)...feel free to email me any other questions or your highest offer at Supra@300zxClub.com or call 910-540-7223 or 910-575-7223. I will hold onto all offers and if the car doesn't sale after several weeks, I will consider lower offers. Yes I KNOW that this price is over book value, but I also know the market value on these cars. I am in NO rush to sale the car, so please remember that I am not going to jump on a cheap offer. I will not hold the car for anyone, unless I talk to your bank and they tell me that payment is on the way. I missed several potential sales on my first Supra because people who wanted me to hold the car because they were "definately" buying it backed out! Not trying to be mean, just fair to you AND me ;) I have another daily driver, so the Supra will be sitting in the garage waiting on you... Thanks!
