|| Grasping The Concept... ||

[Foreword] Matt Scheffert exploded at the mouth, using a strong verbal assault to describe his will to succeed and thrive in our endeavor. Such things as I would have to “bend him in half” before he would tap out. Or he would “take me to hell and back”, hah! So cliché!

As cliché as it was, both statements were astonishing in their accuracy.

I did in fact have to ‘bend him in half’… and when I did, I was met with the most humoring thing… Not only did the wind blow out his candle, but it blew the shit right back into his face. He passed out… The intolerable bastard slipped into an unconscious state under the pressure of a simple move. How pathetic…

But one of his comments did indeed spite me. We have been to hell, but he’s never had to ‘bring’ me back. I’ve crawled back on my own will and fortitude. I think that might just be the weapon that breaks through that gold-plated armor of heart he wears so proudly. The way I see it, I’ve crushed his spirit, I’ve diluted his pride, and now begins the breakage of body… That’s just a concept one must grasp, eh?

Victor Blood: Sutton?

Josh Sutton: In my office, Victor...

[Scene] The scene is set once again inside the Chicago town house of Josh Sutton. Victor Blood and Fearinhell step into the room, lugging a large package. It's stamped with a "UPS: Guarenteed" logo. They sit it down in the middle of the floor and Josh frowns as he turns and looks at it.

Sutton: What the hell is that?

Fearinhell: A box.

Sutton: Really?

[Scene] Dan Baker smirks and nods his head in idiocy. He'd picked up a case of retardation following his plunge through the exploding table nearly two months ago. Sutton rises to his feet and slaps the innocence right off Baker's face. He staggers back then stands with his tongue hanging out and drool spilling from both sides of his lips. Sutton buries his head into his hands and begins muttering. With a sigh, Josh turns to Victor.

Sutton: Get him out of here, now, before I lose what's left of my patience.

[Scene] Victor grabs Dan by his arm and leads him to the door, attempting to comfort him. Victor returns a few moments later.

Sutton: What the hell is wrong with him?

Blood: Severe nerve damage in the brain. He has trouble sometimes and you just hurt the poor chaps' feelings. It's your fault he's in this mess anyway, Sutton.

Sutton: My fault? And just how in the fuck do you figure as much?

Blood: You forced him into that bloody tables match! He hardly expected to blown to hell, I assure you. You left him to fall behind and now he suffers the consequences, and you expect him to simply stand, grin, and bear it? Not likely, asshole.

Sutton: And of what use do you suppose a retard is to me?

Blood: Retard? I'm baffled at your lack of character, Josh. Would it kill you to show a little compassion once on a whim?

Sutton: Yes, yes I believe it would. Why don't you drag the tears out of the closet and I'll toss you a kleenex or two.

Blood: I assure you, Dan is still very resourceful. He isn't as disposable as you've deemed him. I mean, just but a few minutes ago he helped me carry this box in here.

Sutton: Well, it's nice to know if I ever need my balls washed, he'd be up for the job.

Blood: So damn cynical...

[Scene] Sutton picks up a carpenter's knife from one of his drawers and walks over to the box. Victor is still rambling on at his side.

Sutton: Listen, help me open this fucking box. I'm feeling pretty excited about this. Usually when I get mail, it's in the form of a bill or advertisement for some bullshit that no one has a use for... Like coupons for McAssholes.

Blood: Don't get your hopes up... It could be a billing agency trying to get your hopes up... You open the box to find a bill and a camera... Smile, you're on dipshit camera..

Sutton: You think? Oh, I'd be so pissed...

[Scene] Sutton opens the top of the box and his face goes completely white.

Sutton: It's... It's a lot worse than I could have even imagined....

Mini Sutton: It'sa me!

[Scene] Sutton faints as Victor Blood and Mini Sutton lock eyes. Victor rubs his hands together dubiously as Mini Sutton shifts glances from Josh to Vic. He rolls out of the box and lands with a thud on the floor as the scene fades out.
