|| Piggy... ||

Pig...
Yeah you...
Hey pig piggy pig pig pig...
All of my fears came true,
black and blue, and broken bones you left me here,
I'm all alone.
My little piggy needed something new.

Nothing can stop me now...
I don't care anymore.
Nothing can stop me now...
I just don't care.

Hey pig,
Nothing's turning out the way I planned.
Hey pig,
There's a lot of things I hoped you could help me understand...
What am I supposed to do,
I lost my shit because of you!

Nothing can stop me now...
I don't care anymore.
Nothing can stop me now...
I just don't care.
Nothing can stop me now...
You don't need me anymore.

[song: 'Piggy' by Nine Inch Nails]

[Scene] You're back in the casino. You've seen it all. The lights... The loud people... The fat, gluttonous pigs sitting half on, half off their slot machine stools. Indeed, you've seen it all. You stride along to the bar area, where as you expected Josh Sutton sits. The usual bottle of whiskey sits in front of him... The usual cigarette hangs from his lips... The usual malevolent glare smothers his face. You notice something different however. A long chain roams down his torso, past his feet to the floor. A hand reaches out from the right. Sutton turns slowly, looking up at his mentor. Victor Blood stares back, shaking his head.

Blood: I know I've said this a lot lately... But, you look like shit.

Sutton: Nice to see you too.

Blood: Bad day?

Sutton: Bad month...

Blood: Happens to the best of us... You just have to roll with...

Sutton: Save the analogies, old man.

Blood: Look, I know why you're down. You get like this every time we show up in Vegas. You can't blame yourself for what he did, Sutton.

[Scene] Sutton reaches over and grabs Victor's collar without a glance. He picks up the bottle of whiskey with his free hand and takes a swig.

Sutton: I don't want to discuss this with you, nor anyone else.

Blood: Fair enough...

[Scene] The two sit in silence for a few moments. It's almost unbearable.

Sutton: It's been five years, Vic. Not a day goes by without thoughts of him. I fight with sleep to the thoughts of what could have been. What if I had simply bode my time and waited, or came home at the first signs of trouble. But it gets me no where. I can't escape the delusions because I've drowned myself in them for so long.

[Scene] Victor nods, putting his hand on Sutton's shoulder. Josh takes another long swig of the whiskey.

Blood: Why do you have that god awful chain about your neck?

Sutton: This chain and I have become fast friends. Hell, he's just like one of the boys now. Fits in right along side Alcohol, Cigarettes, and Sadness.

[Scene] Sutton sweeps the shot glass off the bar and lays his face down in the ashtray. Victor shakes his head again, laughing to himself. He pulls Josh to his feet, putting his arm over his neck and walking him toward the hotel lobby.

Blood: You're a fuckin' mess, kid. Come on, we need to get you up to your room.
[Scene] The two burst into the room. It's finely decorated with beer bottles, chip wrappers, and empty cigarette packs. Sutton stumbles over and falls onto his bed, groaning. Victor pulls up a folding chair next to the bed.

Blood: Are you ready for Soze?

Sutton: Honestly, I'm not sure.

Blood: Two days before the big dance and you're not sure? Unbe-fuckin-lievable. This guy has really gotten under your skin, hasn't he? You let your guard down and that's what happens.

Sutton: He's a lot different than we anticipated, Vic. He's intelligent and knows how to play the mind like a finely tuned instrument.

Blood: Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'll make a call to one of my associates.

[Scene] Victor gets up but Sutton grabs him, pulling him back down to the chair.

Sutton: Actually, Vic, I'm gonna go at this one alone.

Blood: What? That's ignorant. You aren't ready for a match of this calibur. Your mind isn't in the right place. Your heart... Well your heart never is. But that's beside the point. Look, a quick call and this one is solved.

[Scene] Sutton smiles weakly at his mentor and shakes his head.

Sutton: Thanks, but no thanks.

Blood: Argh, bloody hell! I can't be arsed to deal with this shit right now! Suit yourself, Sutton.

[Scene] Victor storms from the room. Sutton rolls to the end of the bed and sits up.

Sutton: Keyser Soze... You've been taking the shots at me from afar for three weeks now. You've dissected my body with your suplexes... You've seperated my mind with your 'discovery' of my weaknesses. Hell, you've had me doubting my own ability for the last few days. But Soze, unfortunately for you, today, I woke up.

Sutton: I realized that before you got into my head, I was in the driver's seat. I was the one that initiated this war. Remember Keyser? Do you remember the pain I inflicted onto you? Do you remember my foot cracking off your skull like a firecracker on the fourth of July?

Sutton: I remember it, Keyser. I remember it all so well. Because that was the first time I looked into those cold, icy eyes of yours... In them I saw something that no man has ever seen from you before. I seen the tricky little demon known as doubt, Keyser. And it was swimming around, open to the world.

Sutton: But that wasn't all... Oh no... It was like a grab bag of human emotion. I went even deeper into yout gaze Keyser. Deeper into the forbidden twilights. I seen your enemy... Something you commonly claim not to have... Fear! Such a nasty emotion...

[Scene] Sutton grabs ahold of the chain and pulls it onto his lap.

Sutton: I told you the other day, Soze... We're on even playing grounds. No one has ever pushed you around as physically as I have... No one has ever fucked with me mentally, as you have. But one of us has to lose... You know that... I know that.

Sutton: In two days Keyser Soze, I'll show the world the real you... I'll show the fans... I'll show the marks... I'll show the reporters of the internet the TRUE Keyser Soze... The sad irony of it all is you're just another pig... And with this chain, Keyser... With this very chain I hold here in my possession, I'll lead you to the slaughter where so many like you have fell before.

Sutton: As we both know, defeat is a hard pill to swallow. Luckily for me, you'll be the one taking the medication. But worry not, because there will be plenty of water... In fact, I can hear it building even now...

Sutton: I now read you your last rites... And I want you to remember this for the rest of your days... Revenge is a dish best served cold... It's time for you to squeal, piggy.

[Scene] The camera turns full circle, getting a final look at the room before beginning to fade. The scene changes to a commercial hyping 'Sins of Summer IV'. Fade to black...
