|| Caged Utopia ||

[Foreward] In all of the years of pro-wrestling there has never been a match more brutal than a steel cage. Although the cage may lack all of the glitz and glamour of some of today's gimmick matches, it still brings about the methods of old school. Brutal; the only sheer way of describing this match. The sound of two bodies colliding with steel. The look of exhaustion on faces of the competitors as they desperately try to escape the punishment. The sweat eventually turns to blood, and the blood to tears. And in the end, only one of them will walk away.

This Monday will be no different as indeed, only one will walk away. Six men enter in to this hellacious man-made chain cage. Pinfalls and submissions are your only refuge. The last man standing is declared the winner. Who will walk out with the title? Who knows? But one thing has been etched in stone: They will NEVER be the same.

[Scene] The camera, much like last night is quality of a home video. It's focusing in on Douglas, whom is sitting down in front of a brick wall. Alexis Laree is sitting in his lap, trying to get his attention but the Franchise' mind seem to be on other things. Douglas dismisses Laree and she disappointedly walks off. Douglas sighs and crosses his arms, staring with a annoyed look toward the camera.

It's all fun and games isn't it? Fun and games, eh Rock? Let me tell you something about this business, boy. There have been clowns like you that have came and gone. See, I know your type. You take and take and take, and then you abandon what you claimed to love. Rocky, in the early years I had all the same opprotunities that you have now. All the fixings... The hollywood movies. But I chose not to take them. Because, I live for this shit, Rocky. This is my sport, and it rots my mind to see you exploiting it.

[Scene] Douglas lets out another sigh and vaguely smirks. With a quick movement Douglas is on his feet, stroking his goatee. He looks to be in deep thought once more.

During my twenty-one years in this business, I've participated in some will-breaking matches. Cage matches are nothing new to me. But then again, this isn't your ordinary cage match. But hey, let's face it. When you're 'The Franchise' everything can and will be accomplished. Just like back in 1995 when I participated in the first ever three-way dance against Sabu and Terry Funk. As I accomplished that, I shall in turn accomplish this. But Rocky, that isn't the only quest I'm taking on. My main objective in this match is to break you. To either make you realize that wrestling is a lifestyle... or send you packing back to Hollywood. Either way, the times of your singing, dancing, and other pitiful charades will end in this business.

[Scene] Douglas breaks into a thick, sadistic laugh, as if he'd just been told the most humorous joke in the world.

It's funny yet sad at the same time. The only other respectable wrestler in this match is a guy that 'The Franchise' absolutely CANNOT stand. That man is Triple H. You know Hunter, you and I, we share a lot of common ground. But you bring too much bullshit to the table. You had endless amounts of talent and what did you do? You ended up shitting it away for a little bit of control. We've never crossed paths, Hunter, but that's all about the change on Monday. Two masters of chess meet in a very important match. As good as you are, I'm afraid you're going to find yourself on the short-end this time. 'The Franchise' already has you in check mate, you just don't know it yet. Game over.... Trips.... Game over.

[Scene] Shane's eyes dart right into the lens of the camera as he moves closer and closer to it. You can see the steam forming at the lens on your screen.

Rest assured boys, come Monday 'The Franchise' will without a doubt hand you your asses on a silver platter with all the trimmings. Never truer words spoken from 'The Franchise'. Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!

[Scene] Douglas moves back away from the camera and the last thing you see is his hand moving up and over, covering the lens. Fade to static....
