[Foreward] Disbelief; The feeling of all the envious men in the nWe. The feeling that took course through their minds at the sight of Shane Douglas capturing the richest prize in the world of wrestling. Through wits and sheer tenacity Douglas was able to overcome all obstactles, including the survival of a grueling thirty-five minute Elimination Chamber. Douglas' ego proved to be nothing but accurate as he strode to the ring in all of his glory. The golden emblem blazing on his tights as he stood toe to toe with the mass of nWe. As the match wore on, the Franchise turned on the gas. And then the time bomb exploded.... The smoke was clearing... and Shane Douglas stood atop the corpses with the blazened World Heavyweight title hanging high. This will truly go down as a legend to pass on to the children: The tale of 'Quality over Quanity'.
But this week begins a new chapter. A new tale in the already long legacy. A man from the past returns to test Shane's will as champion. Raven, a man with quite the history himself shall attempt to break the walls of Shane's power structure.

[Scene] Shane points down and the camera pans down. Alexis Laree is on her knees in front of Shane, as if worshipping him and his title. She seductively kisses the World title and the camera pans up to Douglas who's wearing a smile worth a million bucks.

Now, 'The Franchise' realizes that people can be jealous. It's simple human nature, but come on! There's been rumors flying in the pecking order backstage. "Shane Douglas, the most controversial champion in wrestling history". "Shane Douglas is a spur of the luck champion." Well, I'm already sick to death with these claims! Absolutely sick! So here's what I'm going to do. Raven, this Monday is your lucky day, my friend! What was supposed to be a non-title match has just become your opprotunity of a life-time. BECAUSE on Monday, this beautiful relic will be on the line. You're going to be the first of many crooked paths that I lay straight. You're going to find yourself beaten and humbled...
[Scene] Shane reaches his hand down and lifts Laree from the floor, spinning her around for a quick dance move. Douglas lets out a slight laugh as he pulls Laree close to him, returning his eyes to the lens of the camera.

I dance and laugh at your propaganda, Raven. It seems as though history is all you have to hold on to. So I've devised a plan to put the proverbial 'nail' in your coffin. I'm simply going to shut the cover on the book. And in doing so, bird-brain... You will in turn be history. And when you're gone... Raven... When you're gone, the dancing will continue... [Scene] Shane lets out a sadistic laugh. The camera zooms in on Douglas, drawing close to his eye. Soon the camera is right up on Shane's eye... He blinks and the feed fades... to black.
