[The scene opens up in a small room, a projector is moving, suddenly flashing "EdW Presents: The Best of Josh Sutton." The camera angle changes to see Josh Sutton slouching in a chair, popcorn in his hand.]
Josh Sutton: I've got a lot of things running through my mind right now. Things that just can't wait to be fully thought out. So I'm going to take this time to express myself on the current issues sorrounding me here in Era of Destruction Wrestling. You know, I've been here for about a month now, and I've accomplished a lot. I mean let's take a look at this. [Clips are shown from Josh Sutton's first match in EdW, against none other than the champion at the time, Xavier Citizen, now sadly known as X. Clips are shown as Sutton's hand is raised in victory following the attack from Xander which caused a DQ.] Sutton: The first match of my EdW career, I defeated the EdW World champion. But let us not stop there, oh no...oh no. [The big screen flashes to the end of the EdW Battle Royal #2 with Josh Sutton making his way to the ring carrying the large duffle bag. The battle between Xander and Sutton is shown. Mini Sutton is revealed to the virgin eyes of EdW for the first time, helping Josh defeat Xander in the battle royal to claim the co-#1 contendership to the Universal title, which was won by Big Daddy Dreamer later that night.] Sutton: The big under dog who was told by Xander, X, and all the other big names of EdW that he would have to earn his stripes in order to get his shot at the EdW Universal title. Noone in their right mind would have placed a bet for me going into End of Days. Did I care? No, I went in and did exactly what I said I would do, and that was walk out the winner. But again, does it stop there, I think not. [Scenes from Sutton's battle against Jason Jameson on this past edition of Turmoil. The back and forth battle is corrupted by the sneak attack of Shodan. Despite the attack, Sutton was able to land Fall From Grace and pick up the victory, naming him the full holder of the #1 contendership] Sutton: Despite the odds placed against me, I defeated Jason Jameson, and I would go on to face Dreamer with no conflicts at Lethal Injection, but sadly I was wrong..The power trip orchestrated by Brandon Kelley put his little bitch boy Brad Kelley in a match for MY contendership. But that's all good and fun, it's about time the Platinum Champion got his hands dirty. Sutton: You know Brad, I know your type. You get a fluke victory and win a title, and the success goes to your head like a lethal poison. You start believing you can overcome all the odds, soon your words actually start to convince others, but you never really are able to fully convince yourself. Brad, I know for a fact that, you AIN'T SHIT! You want to step into the ring with me? You want to use Brandon's power trip to try and boost your ego into the big times..Well I got news for you kid, I'm on a roll, and there's no way in hell I'm going to be derailed by someone as the likes of you. Sutton: As for Shodan, you obviously trying to make a name for yourself by interrupting the Icon's match. Well you will be dealt with at another time, that I can assure you. Sutton: And Finally, we come to you...The One...The one man that I am dying to get into the ring with. I told you One, I told your little group that I was going to take a stand and I did just that. With the help of Yoshihiro Kendi, I made what I believe is the first step to your extermination. The unity in EdW is growing stronger as time passes, and pretty soon One, it willbe you who falls to his knees begging humbly to the stars. Begging for your miserable corrupted existence to be continued on. Sutton: Talk is cheap and maybe I do a little too much of it. But believe me Brad Kelley, you will..find the ruins of time in our match. And the ruins of time will keep you for an eternity. Time passes, people ripen, and die...As time passes, I will win the Universal title...and continue to breath, eat, and sleep as the champion until the day of my demise. [~FADE TO BLACK
