:::7 Years Ago:::

[The scene opens up in Jack Riley's wrestling/training gym in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Jack Riley, a man known around the wrestling world as one of the best grapplers to ever grace the ring and Josh Sutton, the GREATEST human being to ever grace the earth are standing in the same gym, side by side. Sutton it carefully punching a speed bag while trying to keep in conversation with the veteren of the sport.]

Jack Riley: Ya know kid, it's good to see you. Me and ya father, we went way back. Louie Steffani, right here in this very gym, we trained and learned howto shuffle in the ring. We graduated through his school. Tough guy your father was, you remind me of him. Someday you will be as big as your father if not bigger.

Sutton: Old timer, have you not been paying attention to the world of wrestling. I am five years ahead of my time. I've accomplished more than any other second rate panty jobber in this sport.

Jack Riley: You have that fiery passion and anger built inside you much like your father had as well.

Sutton: What the hell are you babbling about old timer, the only thing I have in common with my dad is getting the job done in the ring. All that other "passion" crap as you call it just isn't cutting the mustard in this industry anymore, so why don't you just cut it?

Riley: Cocky little fella aren't ya. Yea, I know your type. Too good in their own mind, but shadows in the eyes of the people. I knew I smelt something when you walked in.

Sutton: You're right, I am cocky and with all that I have accomplished I should rightfully so be confident. And what your smelling is an ass whipping brewing.

Riley: Is that right? And who would be receiving this ass whipping?

[Sutton looks at Jack Riley cock-eyed and smirks.]

Sutton: Tell me, how old are you? 70? 80? Isn't it time for your nap, a diaper change, and your medication?

Riley: I'm 60, and let me explain something to you. When you come into this gym and shout about your stuff, you show it. So until you can prove this self righteous bullshit you're speaking, don't spew it.

[Sutton's smirk fades and he looks at Jack Riley.]

Sutton: What exactly did you have in mind, old timer?

Riley: The proving grounds is what I'm talking about. (He points to the practice ring)

Sutton: You want to scrap with me old man. Probably not a good idea, might break your hip.

Riley: Or perhaps you're just worried that I might hurt your pride.

Sutton: Is that right?

Riley: That's right. You ready for a lesson, son?

Sutton takes out his earring, then pulls off his shirt showing off his impressive physique.]

Sutton: Yeah old timer, you've convinced me, but it's you who's about to be taught a lesson. (Riley starts to head for the ring but Sutton turns him around and gets in his face.) And I'm not your fuckin' son.

[Sutton smirks as he steps through the ropes of the practice ring. The Legend Jack Riley is already waiting. They step to the middle of the ring and lock up.]]

Riley: Ready big shot?

Sutton: Show me what you got.

[Sutton leaves his foot unpiveted and Riley is quick to notice. He lifts Sutton up and throws him over his shoulders. He slaps Sutton on the side of the head and smiles.]

Sutton: What the hell are you smiling at old man. Anyone can do a fireman's carry. My seven year old, fifty pound nephew can do it. If that's all you got, I think I'll get back to training.

Riley: Oh there's plenty more where that came from.

[Sutton gets back up and Riley quickly takes him down with a drop toe hold into an elevated arm bar. Sutton screams out in pain. Riley speaks with the hold still on.]

Riley: You aren't so tough after all. I thought I might actually have to break a sweat today.

Sutton: Agh...ugh..I'm not agh finished...aaaah.

[Riley again lets Sutton up and slaps him in the head. Sutton shakes it off and again they lock up.]

Sutton: Third time's a charm old man, you're going down this time.

[Sutton is quick on the draw. He puts Riley to the mat with a double leg takedown. Sutton attempts to turn him over but Riley kicks him off. Riley lands a big clothesline and catches him with a falling sleeper as he falls. Riley clinches it in deep.]

Riley: Yep, just like your dad. Always getting his ass kicked. You're just another Luis Sutton. Nothing more.

[Sutton drops down, driving his head into Riley's chin. Sutton gets to his feet first and Riley remains down, bleeding from the mouth. Sutton extends his hand to Riley and helps him up. They stand there and Sutton this time slaps Riley across the head. Riley smirks.]

Riley: Good move kid. You still have a lot to learn, but I think you've proved yourself to me. How would you like to be trained?

Sutton: Trained? By you?

Riley: By me? What's that mean? Of course by me.

Sutton: What is there for you to teach me that I don't already know?

Riley: A lot kid. A lot.

Sutton: If you wish to train me, I won't say no.

Riley: Very well.

[The Afterward: Sutton went through a year's worth of intense training in the Legend's gym. As time progressed, Sutton excelled in the arts of technical wrestling.]
:::Present Time:::

A black lexus rolls up outside the Legend's Gym. It shuts off and the loud music pouring from inside fades out. Josh Sutton steps out and pulls his sunglasses off, placing them inside his shirt. He stretches and looks around, taking in the sights of a city he hasn't seen in over 5 years. He smiles, remembering the times he had here, the bad and the good. His attention turns to the gym and he strides toward it.

Sutton: It's time for the baby bird to return to it's nest...
