| || The Current: Here It Comes || [Foreword] Why am I here? To represent Chaos Heat Zone? To bring honor to my home federation? I answer to thee no on all accounts. My reasoning is all of my own. I’ve come out of my desolate hole in CHZ to battle XWF’s TJ Codair. A loud-mouthed glorified peasant with a larger addiction for cigarettes than winning. I look at this, not so much of a challenge, but an example setter. This time, I’m doing it for me. So Codair, ready or not, here it comes. [Scene] The camera zooms in, regaining its focal point. Turning, it locks on to Josh Sutton standing against a tattered graffiti-covered, brick wall. The Chaos Heat Zone Hardcore title drapes loosely over his shoulder. He shrugs, repositioning it as he looks at the camera, licks his lips, and begins yet another sermon for the masses. Sutton: TJ Codair, let me just start by asking.. Why? Why did you deem it nessecary to call me out. Why couldn’t you have just simply walked away. I don’t want to hurt you, kid. But there’s really no other choice. You see, Codair, CHZ keeps me calm and collective. They feed me opponents whom have respect and some sort of dignified manner to them. But you’ve drug me away Codair. You’ve pulled me away from that safe-haven. Without it I feel threatened. And when I feel threatened, it makes me DO things I don’t want to do! Sutton: Only a few days stand between my fist, your face, and a beating of a lifetime; one from which you may never return. [Scene] Sutton strokes his scarred forehead, keeping his eyes locked on the camera. Sutton: I’ve been known to serve quite a lot of notices in my day. So, it’s no surprise that I stand here before you today doing so. To the Revolution Network: I will not be held responsible for the actions portrayed on your pay-per-view. If TJ Codair takes this to the point of no return, then it will be on your plate to be the ones to exhume him from his rotten, bullshit infested grave. [Scene] Josh starts to creep off the wall, walking around in the shadows. Nothing can be heard, except for the spite of his voice. Sutton: Codair, as I told you before, if it’s a fight you seek, then so you shall receive. But remember, you reap what you sow. Do try and keep it civil, won’t you? Sutton: When the flood gates crash open and the sky turns to a shade of red, you will know. When the stars burn of malevolence and the moon presents itself in a crimson glow, you will know. When you hear the sounds echoing in the distance and the cries of one million brothers drowning, you will know… These my friend are the sounds of the crushing currents. So let it be a lesson to you from thy Professor. When the water hits and the pain surfaces, there will be no where for you to go but beneath those very currents.. The currents of the undertow. And all of my children sat with their feet propped up and ice cream in hand… That my friends is… [Scene] Sutton’s head pops from the shadows, smiling with just purpose. Sutton: THE END! [Scene] Sutton fades back into the shrouds and we begin to fade… to…. black. |
