He loves cars ever since he was young. Every year, his mom would buy car shaped lanterns for him to play. Now that he has grown up he prefers the traditional lantern. I love dancing though I wouldn’t say I was perfect, I'm just natural. I have to work as hard as everyone.
I like loose and thick white clothing, I wear it with anything comfortable pants.
I love to go to secluded and private places where I can be myself.
I love to end an argument if the guys and I have heated discussion, I always have to make my points and be sure everyone understands where I'm coming from.
We never proposed to anyone. I have not thought about it
Indulgence – spending time with my family, that means a lot to me.

Actually, Zai Zai was never a good student, but only an average student. Saying hello to his classmates, having meals, dozing off during lessons and laughing at the teacher’s seriousness together, at times will even draw out his teacher’s appearance. Being punished is common thing, and because of his height, he’ll feel a little embarrassed, therefore, he’ll lower his head and hunchback, this leads to the way he is today.
Zai Zai greatest wish is to be able to attend classes regularly (although his results are not very excellent), end classes normally and after that, return home play dian4 dong4, sleep and eat delicious food.
.ZZ likes yi2 lan2, although it’s simple, it always keeps his feelings calm. He can wear shorts there, showing off his spareribs (pai2 gu3) physique.
When facing the camera, Zai Zai will be the more nervous one compared to the other F3. Ken said among F4, his expression is the most dai1, and just as Zai Zai is about to pout, Jerry added it’s him, not Zai Zai . In actual fact, we know they are just humoring themselves.
Everyday, before Zai Zai attend classes, his classmates will always help to keep a lookout first to see if it’s safe, then he’ll sneak into the classroom just like a thief.
By helping his fans signing autographs (which gives Zai Zai slight satisfaction), he’s afraid that he’ll disturb his classmates studying. Student vs. artist, these 2 roles gives Zai Zai different feelings. Student life lets him preserve his purity whereas life as an artist allows him to mature rapidly.
Zai Zai understands that there are many things in this world, u can achieve only through yr own hard work. Therefore, he no longer repel being an artist, work hard and give his best.
At first, when Zai Zai left F4 he felt miserable (can3), but now he can du2 dang1 yi1 mian4 already.
There will always be some fans in school asking for Zai Zai autograph, taking photos. Zai Zai will also do his best to satisfy them, after all without them, Zai Zai & F4 will not what they are today.
Because Zai Zai and his fans are overly close, it makes Zai Zai elder brother unhappy. At times he’ll scold Zai Zai when he spend too much time signing autographs for fans, Zai Zai “forced to” get angry, sacrificing his brother.

As his school is afraid that fans will affect Zai Zai’s study, his classroom windows are closed during lessons and even the only glass window is covered with paper. Therefore, classmates say that Zai Zai ’s starlight (xing1 guang1) made the room willingly change to night (hei1 ye4).
ZZ classmates comments on him: Zai Zai ’s really a very good classmate, very shy, often tells cold jokes, even gives us F4 autographs, treats us very well and does not put on airs at all. Zai Zai is very adorable, very hardworking, only that perhaps due to exhaustion from work, he’ll be a little li4 bu4 cong2 xin1 at times.
Zai Zai always feels that he’s not Hua Ze Lei, but Qing He in real life because Zai Zai is very gao3 xiao4, but Zai Zai has both HZL’s shuai4 and Qing He’s cuteness. If there’s a role that combines these 2 feelings, Zai Zai can definitely act with high proficiency. (Who hit Zai Zai ? So… it’s Vanness. He’s jealous that Zai Zai is more handsome than him.)
Zai Zai hopes to sleep in a room with the rest of F3, the 4 of them chatting till daybreak. Because with them, ZZ will not be nervous and can tou1 lan3, in addition, Ken always makes delicious food (saliva dripping…)
If he has a month’s holiday, ZZ hopes to go to somewhere where no one knows him, the best with the company of F3 so that he will not be lonely. They can accompany him play dian4 dong4 and listen to him sing.
ZZ’s eyesight is exceptionally good, convenient for him to look at beautiful girls.
ZZ hope to develop more talents on stage, such as for musical instruments, he had learnt drums before but his teacher said that ZZ’s hands & feet movements can’t coordinate very well, so asked him to consider learning guitar instead. Hope that by the end of 2002, ZZ can display his guitar achievements in concerts.
ZZ’s physique is indeed not as ‘man’ as Bao Long, but he’s still very pleased with it.
Ever since he became famous, there are more and more fans following him around. ZZ is actually quite shocked in the no of fans (xia de pi gu niao liu), but he is still happy for their efforts.
ZZ prefers girls who are not too thin. A-ya (Liu Han Ya) ever asked him if he gets a different feeling from hugging her (in PQGGZ) compared to Da S? ZZ answered, “Don’t feel any different, both of you are too thin. Next time, my future partner cannot be too thin, or not will look too xin ku, also cannot be too pretty, cute is enough.”

ZZ is very good in drawing. He used to practice drawing himself by sitting in front of the mirror. Also, ZZ’s writing is the nicest among F4, no matter if it is by mao bi or pen.
ZZ is very scared of ghosts. There was once he was recording a section Taozi’s program. Taozi made some excuse to leave the room, and upon her departure, the TV suddenly showed a ghost movie, ZZ was scared to death. He tried to leave the room, but the door was locked. He dare not look at the TV, he even used the pillow (with his pillow case) to cover his face! He did not expect the whole episode was secretly filmed by Taozi, hao qiu3!
ZZ gets easily distracted. He likes to day dream a lot. Although most of the time, he doesn’t pay attention in class, he will never sleep in class. Because if he is discovered, he will be paiseh.
This is how ZZ likes to eat his bao. Take a small bite of the skin, then slowly suck the bao and eat it along with a drizzle of soy sauce.
There is a reason behind ZZ’s inaccurate pronunciation. His paternal grandfather is shan dong ren, grandmother is hu nan ren. His maternal grandfather is from Shanghai, grandmother is Taiwan yan zhu ming. So it is nan mian that his pronunciation is not accurate!
ZZ does not know how to sweet talk, coz he thinks it is too rou ma! He will also cry or laugh out loud in these situations, which will just spoil the mood.
ZZ likes performing in concerts because he gets to hu dong more with his fans. He likes to see fans shouting his name, carrying flash cards bearing his name. The feeling is simply great. When he hears or sees it, he will try even harder to perform even better.
When he first saw those crazy star chasing fans, he felt… “hehehee…bu cuo…seeing that they are willing to give so much for their idols.” But now, he feels that they should study more or do other more meaningful things with the time. If they are chasing him while he is attending those public events/activities, then it is ok, but to trail after him in private is a bit too much.
Cai Jie told F4 before that she will not restrict them to have relationships, it is up to them to make the decision. But if they get in trouble because of it, they have bear the responsibilities and solve the problem themselves.
ZZ is a fan of Andy Lau, “If everyone join forces with me and kidnap Andy to my house, I’ll force him to sign autographs for me and teach me sing. It’ll be great if we can impress him with my charm and let me replace Edison Chen and act as Andy’s son in a movie.”

1st gf – His primary school friend, very cute-looking. ZZ even tou qin her once, bit only managed to kiss her face. At that time, he said that he was very nervous, his heart was beating real fast! But they were not together for very long. That’s how ZZ’s first love passed.
2nd gf – Very beautiful, has long hair, but was together for only 1 month. The reason that she broke up with him is that he is too boring! ZZ said, “I am boring? I am boring?….But I am really quite a boring person!”
3rd gf – 149cm tall, very ordinary-looking girl. ZZ don’t really like her, but his classmates say that ZZ and her are very compatible and ZZ bu hao yi si, so he was together with her for a while. They went and left school together, but soon realized that they are not good for each other. ZZ suggested to break up, the girl did not even have second thoughts and agreed to it. ZZ later asked himself, “Aren’t I attractive enough? Good think that I was the one who brought up the break up!”
4th gf – plump girl, around 120 kg. But ZZ liked her a lot because she is always happy and cheerful. ZZ treasures their relationship a lot. He even day dream about the day he was going to marry her! But before he even woke up from his dream, they broke off.
5th gf – Very cute-looking. After ZZ went to Taipei to study, they met less frequent and spent lesser time with each other, their love starts to fade. Ever since ZZ becomes a star, he does not have any other gfs.
ZZ very much wants to have a relationship. According to him, if a guy does not have any love life, he gets old even faster. This is what he learn from his past experiences. But ZZ being the youngest amongst F4 got to wait for his turn. (He has to let the elders go first or they will not fang guo him!) ZZ ever mentioned that he wants to get married by the time he is 25 years old.
ZZ’s dreamlike charisma, mi2 li2 eye expressions and thin physique has earned him tender affections. White clothes portray his qi4 du4 most vividly. Because ZZ has a thin physique, his clothes are mainly white colored to display his prince charming charisma; white long overcoat with long pants and white shirt makes him look like an obedient white bear. ZZ’s guai1 qiao3 and rou2 he2 complement white color perfectly. His shen1 qing3 love songs and chi1 qing3 expression makes people completely engrossed.
Jerry ever mentioned in his XZJ that in future, he sees Ken as a ying yue ren, ZZ as a father and Vanness as a tian wang. ZZ is the most mei chu xi, but this is really ZZ’s life’s biggest dream come true!
During a Phoenix television interview, Zai Zai was asked - what was his most memorable memory since entering the showbiz. Zai Zai seriously answered, saying that it is getting to know the three friends(F3).
During one of the interviews, Zai Zai kept on eating and eating until he ate all his share of caviar. Jerry then quietly pushed his plate towards Zai Zai, who continued to eat Jerry's share.

Jerry on ZZ: ZZ is like a very adorable kid, often saying very surprising things, especially. his cold jokes. Even thou it may sound like nothing but it is actually very funny. When Cai Jie first decided to hire him, I was like, are you sure? But he has improved a lot & is very hardworking.
ZZ and kids, Jerry said: "ZZ should have a bunch of kids. He's the type that would marry early, coz girls just love him...and loves kids.."
Musical ZZ, The reporter asked Jerry about his views on ZZ's album: "No matter the packaging or the music, it suits him perfectly. Songs & ZZ = 100% results!
Ken on ZZ: "I really like the feel in ZZ...he's naturally good at fa dai. I do it because I choose to.. but ZZ does it coz it comes naturally. he's also got a unique sense of humor...once during filming...the director was calling for ZZ for like half an hour & in fact... ZZ was right behind him & just didn't say anything"
Reports say that ZZ is really quiet...but Ken immediately adds: "No way! When he's full & had enough sleep...you'll know how scary he is!"
Vanness on ZZ: "Let's see, ZZ.. he's very knowledgeable about music, not just lovey dovey songs...but also hip hop, rap. In KTV, he managed to RAP a bunch of lyrics...really scared me...I think he's the new Hip-Hop King..."
Sometime during filming one of the series, Zai Zai would get bored and will play with Jerry's hand phone. Jerry would happily lend it to him, "He's like our little brother. F3 always spoil Zai Zai."
Zai Zai said at an interview: "Even though we are doing our own stuff, it is so our strength is greater when united together."
On F4's Christmas Party, Zai Zai carefully tried to imitate Vanness' pose, while Jerry would carefully help him to maintain his position, afraid that he would get too tired.
When Zai Zai attended the first Seimens' press conference, someone asked him, "Are you nervous?" He replied, "No, because I will be going with the other three."
When Zai Zai was releasing his first album, F3 originally said they wouldn't attend the event, in the end, they all turned up, Zai Zai was moved to the extent, and even had tears in his eyes.

At the Hua Yu Charts presentation ceremony, there was a group of fans calling out Zai Zai but Zai Zai didn't hear it. Jerry did and told Zai Zai, who then could wave at them.
During one of their concerts, Zai Zai was singing "Ai Zai Ai Ni", while Jerry was singing "Zai Zai ai Ni.." backstage.
When Jerry attended Yu Le Bai Feng Bai to celebrate his birthday, Tao Zi asked him what his wish was and he said, "Hope everyone will support Zai Zai, wish that his album will have good sales."
Zai Zai was the first one among the 4 to release a solo album, during the promotions, he would always remember to say to the fans and the media - "Please remember to support the other F3."
On one of his interviews, Zai Zai said that F4 was like a family - Ken is the dad, Vanness is the mom, Jerry is the older brother and he was the youngest.
On Entertainment Live, one reporter gave Vanness the mike but after much thought he didn't know what to say, so he passed the mike to Zai Zai, who started his usual 'speech' that no one could understand. The other three cut him short, "Enough!" Ken even added, "Sorry, Zai Zai hasn't taken his medication today."
Zai Zai once explained that for him F4 means Friend4.
When Zai Zai went to Malaysia, he told the Media, "Without F3, I wouldn't be where I am today."
Also in Malaysia, Zai Zai was out eating and after the meal he said that when F3 comes to Malaysia, he would definitely bring them there to eat, because he wants to share all good things with them.
When Jerry was in Australia for his pictorial book, Zai Zai missed him back in Taiwan and was always in a bad mood.

During one flight to Singapore, Angie was instructing F4 about what to do and what not to say. F3 were listening carefully, only Zai Zai was sleeping. Angie called him a couple of times but got no reply from him, hence she pretended to be an air hostess asking F3, "It's meal time what would you like sir?" F3 cooperated by saying what they wanted to eat. It was then that Zai Zai quickly woke up and asked, "What? Is it time to eat?" But instead saw Angie's glare.
F4’s stylist is Chen Shu Hua, a famous stylist who also works with Jay Zhou, Sun YanZi, Sammi Cheng etc. It’s his common practice to communicate with the artist about his/her dressing preference. Perhaps ZZ was very tired when they were chatting, ZZ was extremely quiet, and his reply to every question was: “anything will do, I have no comments”. In the end, CSH hoped that looking into ZZ’s eyes, he could see ZZ’s true feelings. But all he saw was always ZZ’s “U decide” expression. CSH said he had never seen an idol like ZZ who does not care about his appearance. Whenever ZZ is changing, he looks like he’ll fall asleep soon. Therefore, CSH is like a father buying clothes for his son, ZZ will go on stage right after wearing the clothes, no nonsense said.
CSH especially went to New York to choose costumes for their Singapore concert. He chose a thick and long coat for the thin ZZ but overlooked Spore is a tropical country. That overcoat, you’ll feel hot just by looking at it. The pitiful ZZ pleadingly said “no”. But in the end, as they could not find a more suitable overcoat, ZZ said sighing: “Never mind” and professionally wore that thick coat. CSH did not stop perspiring (most of it is cold sweat) the moment ZZ went on stage, afraid that ZZ would faint on stage. .. after getting down the stage, ZZ shouted “re4 si3 le4” and demanded a treat from CSH.
ZZ was seen with a gal called Xiao Yan, hired by ZZ’s mother as ZZ assistant, monthly salary of $25000 (taiwan currency), paid out of ZZ’s own pocket. But when photographed together, she’s said to be his girlfriend. It’s said that they started dating after ZZ returned from Hong Kong. They were seen walking out of the house, went to shop to choose vcd, then went to the Mac near his school to takeaway and left together. Even said that ZZ skipped classes to accompany his girlfriend. ZZ is someone who places love above other things, he’ll not bear to let his girlfriend endure the pressure with him, and he’ll only take good care of her
ZZ greatest wish now is to sleep till zi4 ran2 xing3 but in fact, ZZ treasures his career very much after all he’s only 22 years old. Before everything has been given its best shot, ZZ will not quit
ZZ was in a room alone watching a war movie. Outside, Ken could hear him nervously shout: "Ken, hurry and come...so scary!". Ken thought something was seriously wrong and hurried in, what he saw was ZZ pointing to the TV set and said: "Explosion!"...in the movie...
There was a discussion going on what to give to Hua Ze Lei on his birthday, HZL’s birthday is on 30 March. ZZ expressed, “This is unfair, Lei is a comic character, Lei is me, how come no one discussed what to give me on my birthday?? I~~...*sob sob*” (pretends to cry)
As ZZ released “Make A Wish” album during the winter season, his image mainly consists of sweaters; pink, light blue, white, grey, light & dark green, black etc various kinds of sweaters. Worn on ZZ, gives an unrealistic feeling as if an angel fallen to the mortal world, noble and kind.
Being the youngest among the four, he is also kinda different when it comes to choosing his girl. While the other 3 wants to have pretty girls, Vic prefers a not-so-pretty- girl and chubby too! His reason? He doesn't want to fight over the girl. The girl should also be obedient, filial. well, now the four of them are the same this time!
Vic's father has another family. When Vic became a pop star his father's house had been a "hanging out" for the reporters. Vic had pleaded the reporters not to bother his dad anymore but they're still there. The reporters then asked Vic's dad about what can he say of his son now, " You just don't know how happy and proud I am to have him as my son". Upon reading it on the newspaper, Vic shred tears.

When Vic was in school he really wanted to pee but he's not yet allowed so he "peed" on his shorts. it was very memorable for him 'coz it was embarrassing
Vic has his own path walk in school, Chinese Mechanical School, because he always comes in late in class when he became a pop star. As he's walking hundreds of fans would crowd him to ask for autograph, shaking his hands or by simply getting a glimpse of Vic Zhou.
ZZ brings lots of food for F3, then he says that those things are really hard, therefore, the first thing that comes out of the first bite...is teeth
ZZ believes that 'upi3 ji1 shi2 ping3" is having the opportunity to become food. "Di4 zhong1 hai3 ping2 xue3" is when a person goes to the beach and swims, due to swimming for too long, they become "ping2 xue3".
ZZ loves eating at Hilton Hotel, when his order of his favorite fish dish was served, he wanted to eat it all himself, so he pointed out the window and called out: "Look, UFO!". Then when everyone was distracted, he quickly eat it all up!
ZZ looks likes he doesn't have a backbone...he asks people whether they know why and answers himself: "Because I am a hump back..."
When ZZ finishes eating an egg, Ken asks: "Is there anything you don't eat?" ZZ replies: "Egg shells."
In <<Meteor Dreamland>>, when Jia Qian and ZZ were knocking on the door, the people inside asked: "Who is it?" ZZ and Jian Qian answered: "Ding Dang Yi Lu Fa."...then ZZ added in a cute voice: "Ba ba ai ma ma."
When F4 went to Beijing, ZZ's deepest impression of the city was the birds on the trees, he said "there were lots of them, about 19. Two were on a tree but only one of them decided to lift their left wing to wave at me."
During an F4 interview, Ken said he will be very "zhuan1 yi1"to his girlfriend. ZZ added, "I'm also very 'zhuan1 yi1', as in University year 1."

Tao Zi, took ZZ's hand phone and ZZ said: "It's will not be very happy by your side."
ZZ being childish in front of Jerry, who said he wish he could find someone to "sa3 jiao1", so ZZ replied, "You do it to me first then I'll do it to you...
Those who have ZZ on their pillow case will have sweet dreams, they can give him a kiss anytime...except for the issue of saliva...ZZ says:" If there is saliva, must wash it clean, otherwise I will get dirty."
ZZ said:" After wo3 zuo4 yue4 zi1 (first month after giving birth), I hardly got a chance to eat out." What he meant to say was: "Zuo4 yi4 ren2" (becoming an artist).

Everyone has said this many times, ZZ is like a kid, his has two 'musts' in life - Sleeping and eating, everything else can be negotiated. But when it comes to eating, it's very simple, Taiwan snacks, fried chicken, rice cakes, his mum's soups and his dad's chilies. Then there's rice, in Japan, in four days, he ate curry rice 12 times - that's record! When he was in Hong Kong, he still wanted to have curry rice, but fortunately, the workers knew he had a sore throat and didn't allow him to eat anymore. So what did he eat in HK? "Cha Shao" rice instead!
The other thing that ZZ is hooked on is snacks, he likes to eat lots of snacks. When he went to Yilan to film ABCDEF4, half the episode was filming him picking out different snacks for F3, his parents and of course...himself!
ZZ not only likes to eat himself but wants a girlfriend that would eat with him. He said once that he hopes his girlfriend to on the 'fat' side, then they can open up a snack bar or something. Anyone who marries him would find it hard to keep thin!
His other aspiration is to become a mechanic. Or he wouldn't mind opening a snack shop.
