There is no web site for us up yet, but we should have a page up on spinrecords.com soon.

First tell us something little about band history:We started in 1991,we live in Virginia which is on the east coast of the USA this is the first real band for all of us. David who is our third drummer joined about 5 years ago, the rest of us have together since the beginning of Hatred. We have 3 releases available, "Daze of darkness" 6 song cassette 1994, "Suffer" 4 song Mcd 1996. And "The Offering" full length CD -1999.

1.Who are the band members:The members are Tim Clayborne-guitar and vocals, Joe Jablonski- guitar and back up vocals, Julio Castillo- bass and back up vocals, and David Castillo-drums.

2.How did you got the name and what does it means: Me and Tim tried to get a band going before Hatred for awhile. The name we used previously was Violator. We really didn't like it too much so we all came up with ideas and we couldn't decide so wrote the names down on paper and put them in a hat and picked out Hatred. Some of the other choices weren't that different , Blind Hate was one and Hate was another. It just seems like everywhere you look is Hatred, on TV the news is filled with different acts hatred, I think that it's the most used emotion by people.

3.What is your music stile and can you compare it to some similar bands: The best way I can describe our style is Death/Thrash. We definitely have a lot of 80's influence in our style or that's what people tell me anyway. People have compared us to BloodFeast and Kreator. The have been more, but I don't remember. Those are just the most common, I can't complain because I think that both were killer bands in they're day.

4.Some of your favorite bands: Malevolent Creation, Slayer, Overkill, Defleshed, Kreator, Kiss, Judas Priest, Testament these are just a few and they're not in any order. Kiss and AC/DC were really big influences early on. There are so many bands that I like , its just hard to pick a couple.

5.Your opinion about underground and commercial scene: I think that the Underground scene has been getting better. I've heard a lot of killer stuff lately, bands like Corpse Vomit, Enmortem, Vehement, Soulless, Kadath, Cerebral Turbulency. It seems like there has been better support overall from clubs and more people coming out to the shows. I think that the commercial music scene is a joke and there is very little that I like from it.

6.What was the biggest success of your band:I hope that it hasn't happened yet! I would have to say the upcoming
release of "The Offering" by Attack Records out of England.

7.How many concerts did you have and by your opinion what was the best one:I have no idea how many times that we've played, I will say at least 100, probably closer to 150. The two most memorable are probably when we had the opportunity to open for Kreator and the other would be opening for King Diamond. We have been playing allot lately with Deceased, those are probably the most fun, we all have a good time.

8.What is your favorite song that you made and why:I really don't have a favorite, "We all Burn" is it if I have to say one.
No particular reason.

9.Where you on some local radio show or something like that:We have been on some college radio programs here in the US. That's about the only opportunity here if you're a metal band. Regular radio isn't very supportive of extreme music. There are a few metal shows here and there but not that many. In Europe we've had more than here, Steelworks metal show in Denmark and Infernal Waves in France are a couple off the top of my head.

10.Do you think that underground music need more attention of media and what is your opinion about big music televisions and radio stations(such as MTV,Viva.....): MTV in the US sucks , it has no purpose other than to keep little teenyboppers occupied and out of trouble. They hardly play any music at all and the little they do is the same old regurgitated crap. Commercial radio is not much different here , if I listen to the radio its usually classic rock or Howard Stern.

11.Do you have support of your local metal fans:We do ok here. People have been fairly supportive. Nothing spectacular, but they have been ok.

12.Your plans for the future: Try and play as much as possible and hopefully come up with another CD in a year or so.I would like to come over to Europe so we could do some shows.

13.Say something for the end: I just want to thank you for the interview and wish you the best of luck.Hail Metal!!!
