hell(o)... i'm k.a.memas ( guitar/vocals ) from "dissected"

1.Can you tell us when was band formed and who why formed a band?Discography?our band was mal-formed back in October 1998. me and ch.tsavegias ( guitar/vocals ), have the same vision in music, which was the composition of the band. this neoplasm start to grow and then cames out the first symptoms. "rehearsal tape", "rehearsal tape 2", "harmonious concertos for cadaveric requiems" and "compiled remains" was only the flow of blood.

2.Bands line up:at this moment the line-up is, k.a.memas ( guitar/vocals), g.tsaganos ( guitar/vocals ) and m.idrizis ( drums ).

3.About the name of the band,who found the name,what does it means,and was it hard for you the find the right name. Does it fits to music you play,did you change name? the name of the band was my idea. it wasn't hard to find it ( for me!!! ). our name have too many senses. so anyone can give their own concept. we like it and it fits perfect in our music and image.

4.Describe you local metal scean: the underground here in Greece, is the same cancer as in the other countries. we have lots of bands in different kind and style of heavy metal. about extreme metal i comment those bands like "cranial torment", "intentional manslaughter", "bleeding" and others which i can remember right now.

5.What is your opinion about bands such as Metallica,Slipknot,Korn,Coal Chamber,Iron Maiden............my personal opinion about those bands is gonna be straight and clear. "Metallica" and "iron maiden" rules. they are the history of metal music. without them, now we will be a cup of posers. about the others, i don't wanna waste my time with human fecal excrements.

6.What is the music stile you are playing and can you compare it to some similar bands.What are your favorite bands? our style is pathological grindeath metal. we like the old school of grindeath metal and classic bands like "napalm death" and "carcass". i can't compare my band with those two monsters. they are the leaders and we the followers. my favorite bands are so many and for example "paradise lost", "black sabbath", "sod", "Megadeth", "in the woods", "morbid angel", ect.

7.How many show did you played and by your opinion what was the best: we haven't play anywhere yet. we have the chance two-three times, but these opportunities was when the band has some internal problems. so...

8.Can you describe us your lyrics:the lyrics describe the cold reality and the only end as we know. we try to show the face of death over the humans. rest in pieces, this is the reality.

9.What is your opinion on industrial-cyber metal:I have the same opinion like i say it before, about "Korn" ect.

10.Can you describe us your last album/demo,do you plan to relies something new soon?our last release is a compact disc, called "anatomy of an autopsy", which contain 20 tracks and 1 hour of pathological grindeath metal. all the tracks are detracted from the first three worm-tapes and include all the 1999 year of the band. next plan is to release a split tape with "cranial torment" later this year and the construction of our official web page.
