1.Tell us little about bands history,who formed the band and why ,when was band formed,also where are you from? squat started out as a 2 piece, distorted bass and drums, we played a couple shows like that and then acquired a guitarist. after a few shows with that line up we got a new bass player and i switched to just vocals (mark mcintyre). we dress up like monsters and beat people up on stage. we use allot of fake blood and weapons. tyler hines and myself started the band in 1998 because we really liked grind music and there was no grind/powerviolence/noise scene in cape breton, nova Scotia, Canada.

2.The bands line up,did you changed it since beginning or are you planing to change it? from bass drum combo to guitar bass drum, to current line up which is mark mcintyre: vocals, tyler hines drums, Shannon McAllen guitar,
and Ryan burke bass.

3.Who gave the name to the band,and did you changed name since early beginnings? tyler came up with he name. i do not know why he used that  name, i guess because it sounds funny. girls squat when they urinate
outside.

4.Can you describe your music and compare it to some similar bands? we
sound like anal cunt (on morbid florist) with assuck style vocals. allot
of distortion, insane live show and rapid fire drums. 5.What is your
favorite band? no means no is my overall band. but most influential to
this band for me is probably anal cunt, brutal truth assuck, sarcasm and
spazz. tyler hines really like spazz and the locust and swallowing shit.
Shannon likes fuck on the beach, romantic gorilla and spazz. ryan burke
likes to listen to feed back and static.

6.Who writes the lyrics and can you describe them? i write all of our lyrics. mostly about zombie and monster movies. but also about cannibalism and my hatred for the human race.

7.How many times did you played live,do you have some special act when you are on stage,and what was you best concert? i don't know how many times we  have performed, but, we dress up like monsters and beat up our audience. we use allot of fake blood and weapons. our best show to date was on September the 30th at the locust in glace bay nova Scotia. we played a 45
minute song and one person got thrown through the drum set and had a very
nasty gash on his torso.

8.Can you tell us little about your local underground scean? mostly consist of new school punk and indie/emo bands, but with some hardcore and metal bands.

9.Your discography and can you tell us something about your latest material,is it deferent than the old one? we haven't released an album yet. it is in the works.

10.Plans for the future? to destroy the human race.
