1.Where are you from, when was
band formed and who formed the band,
and back then who were your main influences in the music.?
We are from Czech Republic (very strange question) - band was formed 1988 -
nobody.
2.Tell us little about the line up,who are the band members and since the
beginning did you changed the line-up and why.Do you have line up problems,and is it hard
to find the right people to play that kind of music...
.........oh.....and why ? I think that music is main, not members. Many
bands have a problems with the fucking line-up so I guess itīs not
important. But Contemporary is Big Boss (voc), Blackie (guit), Evil (drums,
Igor (bass) and Ashok (solo guit.).
3.Who gave the name to the band and did you changed the name,what does it
means and does it fits in the music you play?
Our name ROOT is same from start. Sorry, but i dont understand what you
mean..............changed name ???????

4.Tell us little about your music,who writes the music,who writes the lyrics
and what are your lyrics about.Since the beginning did you changed your music
stile.... Who are you main music influences.What is your favorite song that you
made...?
Music is written by me and Blackie and all the lyrics by me. You have to
read my lyrics, i can not describe it here. We havent any style, we play
music, i hate styles. And every song is my favorite.
5.Tell us little about gigs,how often do you have gigs,does many people come to
see you play live,do you have some special act when you are on stage, what was your best
gig...?
ROOT played out many gigs already so itīs pretty difficult to say which one
was the best. We play so 20 - 30 gigs during an year, I hope it will grow up
at least little bit in the future also in foreign countries. Our show is
really hellish and alive!
6.What about your local underground scene,can you tell us little about it,are
there many people who listens that kind of music and support the underground and are
there many metal and core bands...?
I dont know our underground scene !!! Everybody talk about underground scene
and nobody knows what it is. And Czech scene is unknown for me, because i
havent intrest about it.
7.What do you do beside that you play in the band,can you earn money by
playing your music.?
I only play music.
8.Are you religious,do you believe in Satan or God and what is your opinion
about religion...
I hate all religions !!!!
9.Do you plan to made music video some day,and what kind of video you would
like to made...?
I havent intrest about video-clips, because medias refuse these things. This is waste of
money.
10.Do you know something about my country(Yugoslavia)and would you like to play
some day in my country???What do you think about current political situation on my
country...?
I dont know your country and when somebody invite us so we can play there,
but i think it could be very expensive. Maybe during tour....i dont know. I
hate politics and all about it...sorry.
11.What is your opinion about multination corporations.What do you think about
political corruption.?
Nothing.
12.Do you like horror and gore movies....what is your favorite...?
My favorite is "Tales from Crypts"
13.Texno,house and other shity computer music have taken over the world.What do
you think about that kind of music,and do you think is there place for metal and core in
future.?
Nothing.
14.What is your opinion about commercial music scene and bands such as
Slipknot,Korn, Deftones........?
Nothing.
