This is the new cross member from an awkward angle below the car as it
is installed. The new cross member sets the engine lower and back
about 3/4 inch. (The transmission had to be loosened at its rear cross
member to allow the engine and transmission to move back.)
This is the upper control arm assembly mounted with the same bolts that
hold the cross member to the frame rails. The brake and fuel lines had
to be moved a little to make room for the frame brackets, and to make
sure they didn't touch all the moving parts that are now in that area.
