Musicians Oympus Tribute

Very versatile and prolific keyboardist, he played with lots of fantastic bands. His name should be included in any hall of fame for keyboardists, and although his musical contributions are very extensive, he'll always be remembered by two of his most famous works: The playing in Joe Cocker's original version of 'With a little help from my friends'. Tommy's organ arrangements gave the song such classy style. The playing in the famous 'Baker Street' by singer Gerry Rafferty. Another eternal song. He was born in Sheffield, and lived most of his life in England, but in the last years, he moved to the States, where he lived with his wife, wonderful violin player Scarlet Rivera. Sadly, some months ago he was diagnosed with cancer. After a strong struggle against it, he finally left us in May 23rd, 2001. Rest in peace, Tommy... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.oocities.org/SunsetStrip/Palladium/2214/teyre_b.htm
