Primal
Covers by: Bob Eggleton
The first installment of the Primal saga has gone on the right
foot, for the physical quality of the comic book is higher then other comics of late. The cover doesn't wrinkle as readily, and the pages are noticeably thicker and takes the ink much better.
Now as for the story, it goes as one would usually expect for
our hunter. If you lean more towards blind action then deep plot, its more for you. As for the art, the red-tone cover slightly hints at 'heat-vision' for which the Predator is famed, which is a nice touch Eggleton. Also the physique of the main character is much better then others that I have seen, but I wouldn't say best. The overall comic is well done and I would recommend it to the more action oriented fan.
