I have an Aqua but it isn't exactly cute. Well OK, it's just kinda cute. It's just a photo I downloaded from the official site. Somewhere in there are HUGE pictures of the band. 2 photos of the band and 4 solo pictures of each member, each file around 1 megabyte each. Like I said, HUGE. I think it's meant for good quality printing. I took one photo of the band, reduced the size considerably to fit my screen and I made it my wallpaper...

I have a news 'bout the new video:
During an interviw in Monte Carlo, Lene says that they filmed a new video for the new sigle (i think Around the World). The idea was to make a funny video, and they did it, but only the band and the staff are able to understand the sense of it. So they will make a new video for the song.

By the way, there are a bunch of new pictures at the Official Aqua site from their trip in Canada. Meant to comment on Soren's new hair. He looks like Tintin!  And Lene has changed her look once again. It's amazing that her looks change so much that she's almost like a different person. I swear, it's as if that girl in the Barbie Girl video was a totally different person altogether.

I have to say that i am one of those fans where 'Halloween' is my favorite song on the Aquarius album.  I think the fact that it was such a fast/hard song is what attracted me to it, but the first time i heard it, i had the melody stuck in my head before the song was over and i must have sat there with a big grin on my face because i absolutely loved that song, i think it is my all time favortie Aqua song and i know they would make one hell of a video for the song and i am sure it is going to be released.

My first impression was that the song should have been on the soundtrack to the new Scream movie because the intro sounds like a cheesy portrayal of what the Scream movies are.

I have heard from many places how Aqua fans just love the song "Halloween". I was a bit surprised at first because I thought Halloween was a very hard driving song and at some level quite scary too. As such, it's the least typical song Aqua has done so far. Probably unfair of me to say "typical" because their songs quite varied in themselves. Halloween just stands out as a song that fans would not expect Aqua to do. And yet they have done it and much to their credit,  it works. It has appealed to a wide number of Aqua fans and I certainly hope that it would attract new fans as well.  Does Rene do all the male vocals here? Then it's an amazing feat. I won't be surprised if he developed a sore throat afterwards : )

It's also very reminiscent of the 80's. Rene's spoken dialogue in the middle reminds me of Vincent Price in Thriller and the multi-layered vocals on the chorus is also reminiscent of songs from that time. Still, Aqua manage to keep it fresh with their usual back and forth banter between Rene and Lene and their obvious tribute (spoof?) of the Scream movies....
