You want the "Around The World" video?

I got the video from a friend of mine on the DALnet, i hang out in chatrooms that are designed for trading music video MPEG files.  He sent me the file, so there wasn't a link i downloaded it from.  I don't know where to find a link to the file.  however, if you can use IRC and can connect to the DALnet, my screen name is Snazz and i will happy to send anyone the file.  But there is no link to download it from.

WOW!!!!!!!!! I am just sitting here speechless and overwhlemed by this video, it was THE BEST!!!!  I just saw the video for Around the World today and i can easily say this is Aqua's BEST video by far.  The video premiered on Much Music and although i don't get that channel, someone made an MPEG file of the video and i downloaded it (it is about 35 megs and i will send it through IRC to anyone who wants it, my screen name on the DALnet is Snazz).

Lene looked absolutely incredible, they obviously used hair extensions because she has long red hair in the video and it makes her look absolutely gorgeous, and he skin tight black leather outfit is so sexy!  Soren has shaved a lot of his head, but left the spike in the front, so he looks like there is a giant bird's beak on his head, but he still looks good.  Rene and Claus look the same.

Anyway, the plot of the video is that Aqua are high tech robbers, who go "around the world" stealing treasures.  The style of the video reminds me a lot of the movie ENTRAPMENT (with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones).  Soren and Claus play the guys who wait in the van outside of the robbery scene and communicate with Lene and Rene who are inside the buildings and stealing stuff.  You see Rene steal and painting and a silver cup among other things.  And the main this that Aqua wants to steal is a huge red ruby.  They have to get by a lot of security and laser alarm lights.  However, something goes wrong and the Security of the building find out Lene and Rene are there,
so Soren and Claus have to save the day.

Soren talked about how this was their funniest video yet, but i did not see anything funny about it.  It was just an incredible video in every single way, but it was not the typical cheesy Aqua style.  This video seemed more serious.  This is my favorite video of Aqua and i don't care much for the song, but DAMN is the video good!!!  I was just so amazed with how cool this video is, i can't get over it! IT WAS GREAT!!!

Hey there!
Well, I saw the new Aqua video for Cartoon Heroes and it's awesome.  It's definitely a quirky palyful Aqua video and if it's a preview of the new album, this one is going to be amazing.  Anyway, my name is Kara-Lee and live in Canada, yesterday I was watching Much Music and they said the release date for Aqua here in Canada was Febuary 29th.  Yeah!  I'm excited for it and I hope everyone else is too!

Hey there!
Well i went to the CD store today and as always i went the Aqua section to
see if they had any singles or something that i don't.  Anyway there was a
tag on the Aqua marker that saud "Pre-Order this artist new release before it hits stores" so i went to ask the clerk when the CD was going to be released and he told me it would be March 28th!  YUCK! i thought the Aqua page said it would be released in mid February?  Anyway, maybe that was a European release date or something.  Just thought you all might wanna know.

Another album review from aqua@onelist.com...

I just wanted to say, I picked up the new Aqua album on it's Canada release, Feb. 29.  I love it so much.  My favourite song is An Apple A Day.  It's such a fun song, happy go lucky- throw your cares away kind of song.  I also really like Halloween and Goodbye to the circus. All the songs on this album are great, the evolution of the band is clear and their new edge is a good look.  Also, the Aquarius Fighter game is pretty addictive, I'm sure all the fans will love it. I heard them perform and give and interview on Much Music and they said Around the World would be the second release.  I can't wait for that video, knowing Aqua it's bound to be fun. Anyways, the album is doing alright in Canada. I know Aquarium did pretty well too.  Lollipop was released here, it wasn't as big as Barbie Girl though.  Personnally I really liked Turn Back Time the best.

It's amazing what a little hype will do.

It has even inflamed the media (see attached news clip from Excite news), that if the first picture is to be believed, the "new" Lene has had something else removed too!

Compare the two images. Can you spot the difference?  If you are up on the
interviews, she has had several of them, and always had a preference for full size eagles.

OSLO (Reuters) - The lead singer of Scandinavian pop group Aqua, whose greatest hit was "Barbie Girl," was accused of setting a bad example to young fans by having her breasts enlarged.

Norwegian media said Lene Nystrom recently had implants to make her
breasts bigger and printed photographs of her looking more buxom than a few months ago.

"Silicone storm against Aqua Lene," Norway's top selling daily Verdens Gang said in a front-page headline. "Newly operated Aqua Lene gets told off by  Norwegian celebrities -- Sad and Dumb."

Verdens Gang quoted several singers, writers and artists as saying that   Nystrom was a poor role model for her fans, especially young girls. A few supported Nystrom and said she should do what she wanted.

Nystrom said that she would not comment on her private life.

Aqua's 1997 "Barbie Girl" was a hit around the world. It angered the makers of the plastic Barbie doll, U.S. toymaker Mattel Inc., with its sexy kitsch and lyrics like: "I'm a blonde bimbo girl in a fantasy world."

And therein lies the heart of it. They vcan't even get the Lyrics right in their quote! The first picture is such an obvious fake. Checkout the shadows under her chin. There is an obvious clue! (As if the missing tattoo wasn't a big enough giveaway!)
