Sliding Doors review :

Aha, I watched 'Sliding Doors' two times. The first it was at 07.03.1999 and then at 29.04.2000. It's a good movie. When Helen (Gwyneth Paltrow) is sitting in any bar or somth with her pal they're talking and in this moment Turn Back Time is playing (from Give me time to reason, give me time to think......til I seen it coming from the flash of your light). You can heard it but it sounds not loud.

Well when they were in Italy, Milan, they shopping in the fancy designer stores and all filmed by MTV Stylissimo. April 22nd was a great super surprise show in Denmark! Aqua didn't know about this
themselves, coz they must going to Sweden that day. I've got e-mail from a guy who was there and he also sent some pix of this live show. Aqua performed:
1. Happy Boys and Girls
2. Around The World
3. Good Morning Sunshine
4. Barbie Girl
5. Doctor Jones
6. Freaky Friday
7. Cartoon Heroes  and  extra  Roses Are Red (extended version)

Another personal byte! :

Hi Everyone!
You probably want something good from Aqua. Well, One thing is for sure: I want Aqua to make a musical-comedy motion picture called "Life in Aquarius". I visualise the movie mostly set around the world during their time on the road.  The last stop the band makes is in their native Copenhagen for a spectacular show.  At the end of the movie there will be 4 bonus music videos including "Cartoon Heroes", "Around the World", "We Belong to the Sea", and "Halloween".  This may be too silly
but it is something I had in mind for many months.  Please don't take it seriously until they figure out something they want to do to please their fans.

Why have Aqua gone serious? Why do they want to turn back time? BIG! finds out...

So have you left your wild days behind now and gone all serious?
Rene:"No, what do you think? Aqua will always be wild because that's what we are. We're ppl who love to laugh and mess around."
Lene:"We've been around for four years and we've never changed. Our new single, Turn back time, isn't as crazy as Barbie Girl or Dr Jones but it doesn't mean we've changed. I've still got red in my hair!"

So why have you made a serious single?
Lene:"Cos we want to prove that there's more to Aqua than Barbie! Our album has a million different sides to it, there's happy songs, sad songs and great pop. We're not out to prove anything, we just want ppl to like us for what we are."
Claus:"You know you can't be wacky all the time, sometimes you have to go into normal mode!"
Rene:" Before Aqua we were actually really respected in the music industry. I was a DJ and loads of ppl would come to watch me work. Now I'm in Aqua, ppl don't believe all that, they think I'm just a weird guy. But I'm not. I'm normal."
Soren:"Apart from your hair..."

Do you want other bands to take you seriously?
Soren:"No, cos that's not important to us at all. We just do our thing and if other ppl think we're silly, we don't care!"
Rene:"It's funny cos bands don't tell us to our faces that they don't like us, they either ignore us or are really friendly but we know they are lying."
Lene:"We've won loads of awards back home for what we've done, we're really proud of Aqua."

Do you think more bands should act like Aqua?
Soren:"Other ppl do what they do and they do it well, we just do our own thing. I'd like to see someone like Madonna going wild and crazy sometimes though!"
Lene:"Can you imagine her singing Barbie Girl?"
Soren:"Haha! Or being in the Dr Jones video! She'd be great!"

Will you ever make another record like Barbie Girl?
Claus:"Who knows what will come out of our mouths next time. We make all sorts of great records, and Barbie Girl was just one."

Turn Back Time is from Gwyneth Paltrow's new flick. Have you met her?
Lene:"I wish! No, not yet although we'd really like to. It's a great film and we've based our video around the movie. So it's clever."
Soren:"Brad Pitt was a fool. He should have hung on to her cos she is so beautiful. I love her hair now."

If you made Aqua - the movie, which actors would play the title roles?
Rene:"Brad Pitt should play me!"
Lene:"Juliette Lewis from What's Eating Gilbert Grape should play me. I love her, she's got such an interesting face."

If you could Turn Back Time where would you go?
Soren:"I'd love to go back to the 60s for a while, I'd love to hang out with The Beatles, just hang out with John Lennon and Paul McCartney to see how they managed to write so many classic songs."
Rene:"I'd like to go back to the stoneage to be a caveman, Arrrgh!" (I'd like to go with him!;)
Claus:"I'd like to go back to Elizabethan times so I could wear funky outfits with tights."
Lene:"I'd love to be a Medieval princess with all her beautiful costumes, or I'd go forward in time to see if man will ever live on the moon."

Do you ever wish you could Turn Back Time and change history?
Lene:"I'd make it so we would never have to see our old manager again."
Rene:"I'd like Aqua to have been really successful a few years ago. I fell we could have dominated the world sooner."
Soren:"Obviously there's huge sad or tragic things we wish we could have changed, but there's nothing for me personally."
Claus:"I'd have made it so we all met sooner. But as it is we have such a laugh cos we understand each other so well."

What do you mean?
Rene:"We have loads of in-jokes only we understand and I can just look at Soren and make him laugh. It's really embarrassing for him in front of other ppl. We hang out so much together we almost know what each other are thinking."
Soren:"The other day, this guy walked up to meet us and Rene just did this goofy smile at me and I couldn't stop laughing."

Who would you like to see do a cover version of Barbie Girl?
Lene:"It would have to be a rock band."
Rene:"Metallica.(Growls)'I'm a Barbie Girl!'"
Soren:"What about the Spice Girls? That would be a cool concept!"

What's the best part of your job?
Lene:"Travelling the world, and meeting pop stars."
Rene:"I love the travel but it can be really boring. We are always on a plane or a train. We have to sit around for ages, that's why you'll always see Aqua with books under our arms."
