Wedding Bells are ringing loud and clear! :

guess what!!! Claus got married on the 4th of August!!! He married 20-year-old Siggy Madsen at Valdemars Slot (castle) in Tasinge, Denmark. The party went on for three days. Congratulations Claus!

SUMMER TIME FUN FOR AQUA :

It seems that Aqua has just finished shooting the video for their new single "Bumble Bees". This will excite all Aqua fans around the world. The video features the band dressed up in funny insect costumes and here's the plot :

The litte bumble bee of Lene Nystrom is the main attraction for the bigger, more clumsy, and sweet bumble bee of Rene Dif.  He is encouraged by the beetle of Soren Rasted.  All of a sudden the summer vibrations are interrupted by the spider of Claus Norreen, who is trying to catch the poor little Lene-bee in his web. Once you see the video for "Bumble Bees", you'll think this is video to see.

How a Fan met Aqua? :

Aqua have been my favourite band since I was 10 years old, most people call me obsessed, I totally agree. All I think about all day is Aqua and when I have sleepovers with my best friend, Katy, all we talk about is Aqua and we always dreamed about meeting them, and sometimes cried because we couldn't.

Earlier this year I was watching the Morning Show before school and they were doing a review of Cartoon Heroes. I was totally flipping and then the man on TV said "Yep . . .a great song, watch out for it because Aqua will be down under in May."

I straight away started trying to find out anything I could about this promotional visit, and learned that they would come on the 8th of May, and leave on the 14th. They would do at concert and an under18s club in Melbourne on the 13th and then another one in Sydney on the 14th. Where I live, Melbourne is over 10 hours away, and Sydney is six hours away.

Me and Katy begged our parents for two months straight, until they finally let up, knowing how bigger fans we are. So on the 13th of May, me, Katy, my mum and Katy's mum were all driving in the car, Aquarius on the car stereo full ball. We drove the six hours to Sydney, me and Katy totally wetting ourselves with excitement (just a saying, we weren't literally wetting our pants!) and stayed in a cheap hotel overnight. Still on the 13th, me and Katy walked down to the newsagents to buy cardboard and textas so we could make posters for the concert. I bought a huge yellow piece of cardboard and Katy bought a green one.

Through the night my poster eventually had a huge SOREN written across it in black texta and Katy's the same except it said CLAUS. Also on that night we watched and Australian musoc show and Aqua perfromed Cartoon Heroes and then did an interview. Me and Katy were so excited. Then on another channel afterwards Aqua performed Around The World on a comedy show. All that night me and Katy didn't sleep. We kept jerking ourselves awake, thinking, 'In less than 24 hours we would have seen Aqua perform live!'

That morning we got ready and set of to Darling Harbour where the concert was being held (that is the harbour Aqua performed at last time they were in Australia, see Aqua Diary, and they performed on the same floating stage - except this time it was a lot closer to the land, only about 2 metres away)

The concert was at 2pm and we got there at about 9am. There was about 8 people there and me and Katy quickly got to the front of the barrier which was about one metre away from the edge and stood right in the middle, talking excitedly. we couldn't believe what we were going to experience in a couple of short hours. It was kind of scary thinking that a band we had
idolised for years was about to perform right in front of us, 3 metres away.

We made friends with the other aqua fans there, but quickly realised that they were not hugely obsessed like us, and didn't even know who Soren and Claus were. We couldn't shut up about Aqua, we kept telling everyone all this stuff that they didn't know and going on and on about it. Our mothers decided to go and go shopping.

At 11am when the stage was getting set up with the lighting and props which were globes all around the stage, this guy walked out to one of the keyboards. He was wearing black sunglasses and a red baseball cap. He had a claus-like beard and a mole on his cheek like Claus. Katy has just said, "Jessica, is that Claus?" I looked at him and deep-down knew that it was but
couldn't believe it. So I was like, "No! No way, Katy!" But we looked at him closer and just started leaning over the barrier and shouting to him, "Excuse me, sir! Are you Claus Norreen? Hey, are you Claus?" This guy totally ignores us, he just continued checking out the keyboard and stroking his chin.

THEN, Rene` walked out from behind the stage to near Claus, and me and Katy new instantly, that Claus Norreen and Rene` Dif were standing 3 metres away from us. We both burst into tears and started screaming and yelling out to them. Claus looked kind of scared and quickly walked
back behind the stage. But Rene` looked up at us and smiled. Then he waved. He was honestly loving having these two girls screaming and crying for him. Our mothers, who were a good two hundred metres away, said that EVERYBODY in Darling Harbour just stopped to look at these two hysterical girls. The others there were excited too, but not even half as bonkers as we were,
they were like, "wow, it's Rene`!"

Anyway, he just continued smiling and started walking across this little makeshift bridge over to the fans. He started up one end, and we were in the middle, and I suddenly realised that I didn't have a pen. I burst into tears all over again and started crying, "I don't have a pen! I don't have a pen!" and Rene` looked right at me, and then back to the girl who he was signing a poster for and said, "Can I borrow this?" referring to the pen.

He eventually made his way to us and when he got to Katy we were both like, "I love you, Rene`! We love you so much! You are so cool!" still in tears he just smiled more and hugged Katy (!!!!) and then signed her hand with the texta he had borrowed. When he got to me he hugged me aswell (!!!) and I was crying on his shoulder, going, "I love you! I love you, rene`!" And
then he signed my SOREN poster and my hand too (during this time my mum was snapping away on the camera, getting the pictures of us hugging him!) and then I said, "Can I ask you a question?" in between tears. And he said "Yeah," and I said, "How oldis Daniella?" then he went, "My daughter? Aah, she's nine." and then he said good bye and had to go back and me and
Katy grabbed onto his fingers, not wanting to let him go. But off he went back onto the stage.

He was so cool! His head was really shiny and his accent was so sexy and he was so sweet!
Me and Katy just stared at each other in shock, thinking 'We just met rene` dif!' then we got all excited and starting hugging each other. Then we saw Lene on the side of the stage. We totally went at it again, screaming and crying all over again, then together we both screamed, "We love you, Lene! We love you!" and she turned towards us, walked a couple of steps, and
yelled, "I love you, too!" pointing at us! Can you believe it? Lene Grawford Nystrom told us that she loved us! Then she started walking towards us!

She walked over the little bridge thing and started at the line as well. Katy's mum rushed up and handed us each a texta and gave Katy a piece of paper to get her to sign. Lene reached Katy and we were both in hysterics, crying at her that she loved us. She hugged Katy and then Katy handed her the paper. And on the paper it said, 'Thankyou for choosing Parkroyal' and I will never forget the look on Lene's face when she read that.

She looked so confused and Katy goes, 'just sign it! just sign it!' then Lene signed it and said, "I was thinking, what? am I getting a parking ticket?" then she got to me and hugged me and I was crying on her shoulder too, telling her how much I loved her and she just simply said, "Oh, you're so sweet!" She then signed my SOREN poster and then a security guy came and grabbed her arm, and she was like, "No! Just wait a minute!" and she finished signing autographs for the others! Her skin was so beautiful. It was really smooth and kind of orangy. Every part of her body was so small. She was so beautiful and little and incredibly kind! Both her and Rene` were so sweet and friendly and their accents were so cool!

After that me and Katy were just in shock. I was disappointed though, because Soren, who's my fave member, hadn't shown up anywhere. We had met Lene and Rene` and seen Claus in person, but no sign of Soren.

Right at that moment Soren and Claus walked back onto the stage and we both went hysterical all over again. I was holding my Soren poster nice and high and yelling out ot him but he just smiled and waved and went to his keyboard. Then we watched Soren and Claus fiddle with their keyboards, the whole time us screaming at them how much we love them! Then we listened to Aqua
rehearse Cartoon Heroes and we were both screaming out the lyrics. That's when they got on a boat and went to lunch.

The area was beginning to fill up then, more and more people coming to sit and wait, with about 2 hours until show time. Me and Katy just talked to everyone and were so excited that we'd gotten there early and had been able to meet them and get good seats. By 1:30, the place was packed. Thousands of people were cramming us against the barrier. That's when Leah McClowd
walked out onto the stage (she's an australian celebrity) and started talking.

She was trying to hype the crowd up saying, "OK, guys, Aqua's gonna be here real soon . . . " then she was going, "Aqua!" and holding the microphone out to the crowd to say it and everyone was chanting 'AQUA!' It was so exciting. Then this boat emerged from behind the stage and we saw Lene and Rene` standing on the front of it and Soren and Claus sitting back down in
the middle. The crowd went wild. We were screaming and I was holding up my poster and they were all just smiling and I SWEAR that rene` pointed right at me and then looked at Soren, notifying him of my poster. Then Soren looked right at me and waved. When they got to the stage they burst into Cartoon Heroes with Lene and Rene` jumping around the stage.

Then they performed Freaky Friday and at that western part at the beginning and end Lene and Claus danced by linking their arms and running around in a circle while Soren made the music on his keyboard. And right at the end Lene went to the front of the stage and pulled down her pants, revealing leapord-print undies. After that they did We Belong To The Sea, and then Halloween. Then Lene said, "Anyone who doesn't know anything about sex, you're about to
learn it now!" and they performed Bumble Bees. After that Lene said, "Who's bought the single for Around the World? Do you want us to play Around the World? Are you gonna sing along?" and then they did Around the world.

After that they started to walk off the stage when this man stopped them and presented them with gold discs for Cartoon Heroes and Aquarius. "Now, what would you do if I said, 'Hiya Barbie!" Rene` said then. Lene started singing the chorus and holding her microphone out to the crowd and they sang every lyric perfectly. Then they performed Barbie Girl. They were so good at performing live! Lene and Rene` flirted with each other through out the performance and because we were so close, we made eye contact all the time with them. Me and Katy were yelling every lyric out as loud as we could, and we know that Aqua know that we are huge fans because we knew all the lyrics and we're so hysterical about meeting half of them.

May 14th was the day I met Aqua. May 14th was the best day of my life.
