A good e-friend of mine, AP, from Australia sent this :

I came accross the following in the Australian TV Week. The article is
written by the absolute guru of pop for many years in this country, Ian
"Molly" Meldrum.

Quote "...

Contrary to all the rumours, Aqua singer Lene Grawford Nystrom is alive
and well and very happy. And she's got good reason to be: Aqua have the
number one single and album in Australia.
The great Danes have blown away all those critics who thought Barbie
Girl was going to be a one-hit wonder.
The great news is Aqua are coming to Australia for a promotional tour in March. We've already had a big promo
tour this year with the Spice Girls, and the Aqua visit looks like it's
going to be monstrous as well.
Aquarium has already gone double platinum, for sales of more than
140,000, and Doctor Jones is also double platinum.
Aqua will release their third single, Lollipop (Candyman), in February.
The single will come with remixes of Doctor Jones, plus a CD-ROM
component containing videos of Barbie Girl and Doctor Jones, plus an
Aqua screen saver.
I have no idea where the rumours of Lene's suicide/murder/car crash came
from. It's very similar to the reports of Gwen Stefani's "death" just
when No Doubt were riding high last year.
I'm very pleased to report that both Lene and Gwen are still with us!"

......Un-quote.
