Hepatitis C From Piercing
Doctors are still warning piercing enthusiasts to be careful.
as we already know, Hepatitis C can be contracted through body piercing and tattooing which should lead future
recipients to not only seek professionals instead of doing it themselves but to be extra cautious as well.
All professional piercers should be licensed and make sure that you watch what they are doing. While most shops do run a legitimate business and sterilize everything, it doesn't hurt to be extra careful and do your homework if visiting a new parlor.
Remember that in many states, it is illegal to tattoo or pierce anyone under the age of 18 regardless of parental consent so beware of the money hungry artists who claim that the law does not apply to them
