parkway construction update 6/16/99so, it's been a while since the last update... but that's just me being tricky again ;) i've been sneaking stuff up for several days now...
first up is e-mart. somebody said on the bte.com message board that they'd been looking for a bte desktop theme, but couldn't find one. and i thought, hmm.... so i made one! and i emailed the guys and got permission to use the sounds from garden and everything, so no worries about that :)
then i decided to totally revamp the main page. and THANK YOU COOL WHIP for the help with the java!! couldn't have done it without you! the traffic signs used are from the Manual of Traffic Signs, by Richard C. Moeur. the others were adapted to the parkway by yours truly.
we also have a new party at the pavillion. go check out some of liam's really cool bte artwork, okay? its neato-mosquito :)
the atlas has also been updated. ummanduh's bte pics are back!! wooohooo!! the girl finally escaped aohell, and moved to geocities. yeah, i know, but at least the page loads now! links to kimberlism's new bte zine, normal town, and to chelle's couch have been added. check 'em out if you haven't already, okay?
and if you notice some other random things that are different, well, then good for you!

gee. looks like the updater hasn't been updating the update page! oh well, live with it! enough of you seemed to find the new insanity even without this page. does anyone really even read it anyway? hmmm...
so... updates. well, there's been a party goin' on right here... a prom, in fact! and all those savvy people who were in the right place at the right time got to vote for prom queen! sorry, charlie. ya' gotta be a mind reader around here!
the prom queen has been elected. woohooo! now the party really gets crazy. we must apologize for not proceeding on schedule, but your lovely mc pulled down a triple infection with some bronchitis on the side. don't worry, she resisted the temptation to slurp straight out of the punchbowl, so you're all safe. now, go check out the party in the pavillion!
oh, and watch for more developments here soon. word is there's some major construction coming up...

well, if you're observant, you might notice that something's up lately. there's been lots of construction lately that hasn't been posted in the update. just tryin' to keep ya' on yer toes!

well, it's tax day (UGH, and DOUBLE UGH!!), and since i could only dream about going to that major bte shindig up in chicago tonight, i updated my webpage instead. :) i finally FINALLY added those articles from Ummanduh! thank you Ummanduh! muchas gracias, senorita! and happy reading, ya'll!
parkway construction update 4/13/99
heylo!!! we have new pictures at the overlook! yours truly went on a trek this weekend all the way to dallas and houston to see that one band, oh what IS their name??!! anyway, they ROCKED the house, well, park both times, even if they didn't get to play for long. and i took pictures in houston! and i fought my way into the midst of 27,000 gorillas to get up close to the stage and take pictures, so you'd BETTER go look at them! yeah, like i'm gonna have to make you, right? haha! well, i must say, i did not like that little disposable camera i bought, the thing was AMBITIOUS! thought it was a fish-eye lens or something! so the pictures are kinda leetle, and i blew 'em up as much as i could. we had soooooo much fun though, doesn't matter how the pics came out! the guys were really, and i mean REALLY rockin'!!! we kept hearing people after the show saying, 'who was that?!?' and 'man, they rocked!' needless to say, we set as many of 'em straight as was possible. and there was a monster line to get the guys' autographs in dallas. ah well, got em already! but we said hi in houston! and i must say, if ya' didn't know already, ezra concerts are just more fun with ezralites! i went with an awesome old ezra friend and an awesome new ezra friend! woohooo for ezralites! geez, gotta lay off the caffeine, ya' think? ta ta!

just some quickie stuff today. i added a link to crashdaddy central, my bud holly's page :) she's just getting started, so go visit her and tell her to keep it up!
some new articles have been submitted to the library, and they will be added as soon as possible! there's some good ones, too!

parkway construction update 3/30/99
helloooooo!!!! we have a new party at the pavillion! sorry hila! but i think the guys ran out of champagne, so they took off. but we've still got the picture! there's a link to hila's page at the bottom of the new party, which, by the way, features the sketches of my fellow madwoman (is that a paradox?) holly winchell. let's all give holly a round of applause!! wooohooo holly! her drawings are quite lovely, i encourage you to check them out. the one of kevin has even been photocopied and taped to the collective asses of athenaeum at their last show with bte. this was apparently during a very moving interpretive dance to porcelain. and kevin has said he uses it, along with an ominous voice, to chastise anyone who misbehaves on the bus. heh heh. who wants to hear the ominous voice? okay. i'll behave now! or at least try...
oh, yes, i must not forget to mention that some new stories have been added to the collection in the public library, courtesy of ummanduh :) thanks girlie!! she has sent quite a few to the information desk, and they will be shelved as soon as possible! that about wraps up today's update. see ya' soon!
parkway construction update 3/25/99
well, spring break is over, dammit! so no more of those daily updates... the instructors around here actually expect you to WORK! can you believe the nerve? lol.
the parkway now has a public library. wooohoooo! there's not too much there yet, so if you have anything to contribute, PLEASE email me! the head librarian prefers articles from your local papers, or any other source that isn't widely known (ie-- that PLAYGIRL thing...). just thought it would be fun to see what the little people think about the guys.
in other news, richelle has sent in three more pics from the bryan, tx show, so check them out. BELIEVE me, YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THEM!!!! geez louise. you're gonna need a towel and a glass of water! hehe! oh, and the pic of richelle and kevin at the white rabbit in san antonio has finally been posted :)

in other news, the captions for dallas and lawrence are up! no more geocities index! wooohooo! and now you know what's going on... well, do you ever really know what's going on at a better than ezra show? heh heh. you have fun! that's what. and all those pics are just my way of showing how much fun the guys have up on stage. the pics are fun to look at, but they're no substitute for the real thing, believe me. if you haven't seen bte live, GO! GO NOW! THIS VERY MINUTE! they're friggin' incredible!

i added pics from dory of the springfield, mo show, and some from richelle of the bryan, tx show. thanks gals! graffiti bridge got a facelift, and so did the "sign graffiti bridge" page. wanna see what i did? well, then GO ADD YER OWN JOHN HANCOCK! other than that, i just tweaked a few things... hooray for tweaking! woohooo!
okay, that was this morning, about 2am. heh, i've been up to things since then! i added a nice little surprise for a very special someone! PARTAY!

uuuh, yeah, it's 4:39 am, and i'm having too much fun to sleep!! who needs sleep when ya' got bte on the headphones, right? haha! but, seriously, folks! (yeah, RIGHT! around HERE?!?) i added my links page, and i've been a scanning fool all week, uploading pics like crazy. the pics of lawrence might as well be a slide show! but they're fun. and i promise, more than just concert pics coming soon! real soon! dates? you want dates? what do i look like, a calendar?!? hmmmm???
