You definitely meet the
criteria for the job.
Adrienne:Look at this job ad. What do you think. Tessa:Let's see: HR manager; at least ten years' experience preferably in at least two different industries; experience of change management; ability to deal with the unexpected. Adrienne:They're asking for quite a lot. Tessa:Well, maybe, but I know your resume and you definitely meet the criteria for the job. Adrienne:So you think I should apply. Tessa:Of course. Have a go. You'll be a strong candidate.
HR當然是Human Resources(人力資源)的簡稱。 (1) We don't have the human resources for this job(這工作並非我們的人力資源所能勝任)。(2) The personnel in that company enjoyed excellent fringe benefits(那家公司的僱員額外福利很好)。Fringe是「邊緣」,The fringe of the rug is badly worn即「地毯的邊緣殘破不堪」。 說「人事部」,personnel或human resources配單複數形式動詞都可以,例如:Human Resources(或Personnel)has/have invited internal applications for the opening(人事部已邀請公司本身的僱員申請該空缺職位)。 Our human resources are stretched to the limit(我們的人力資源已使用到了極限)。 (1) The company’s personnel is/are highly efficient(公司的職員效率甚高)。(2) All personnel are supposed to know this regulation(職員人人都要懂得這條規例)。 |
