PARABLE OF A MAN INVITED TO A WEDDING.

There was a man who often talked to another man who was about to get married. They
would often laugh and chat and talk, so much so that the future groom rarely talked to
any other male. The wedding was anounced. The man thought to himself "I will be the
groom's best man at the wedding because I am very close to the couple, like no other,
we always talk, I'm always in his presence." The wedding invitations were sent out. But
none came for the man. Lesser persons than he were invited to the wedding. Not only was
the man not invited to be a groomsman but he was not even invited to the wedding. So it
will be at the end of the age. Those who think they are first will expect to be in charge of
much but their invitation to heaven will be disallowed.
