Clint: When did he first become a pro skater?
Phil: It was back in 1993. I think it was H-Street first, they signed him first. Then when he was up at Camp Woodward, Tony Magnussen liked him and signed him. Then they changed from H-Street to Evil, still under Tony Magnussen. Then Bam's friend Mike left Evil and went to Toy Machine, and Bam joined him in Toy Machine. Then finally, Bam joined with Element.
Clint: I know that you are a big Elvis fan, have you ever seen him in concert?
Phil: Oh, I've seen him 11 times. I went to Vegas to see him. Saw him every time he was in Philly. And he did it twice 3 other years, and I saw him those times too. So it comes out to 11 times.
Clint: Does your moving have anything to do with stalkers or Jackass, or anything like that?
Phil: Well, that is not while we are moving, the house we bought is about two times bigger than the house we are in now. And it will give us more room, more entertaining room. And there have been girls across the street who have waited for Bam with cameras, waiting for him to leave, video cameras, regular cameras, waiting for him to leave. He will go out to his car in the morning and there will be lipstick kisses marks, lovenotes, and things like that.

I'd say that we get 5-6 hand written letters a day too. We try to answer them and put stickers and a few pics, Bam signs them before he leaves and I mail them out. Right now I have about 60 I need to reply to, we have been busy trying to move and that sort of stuff.
