I remember hearing that you have a deal with Transworld that requires you
can only shoot for them and no other mag, is this right and how long do you
think you will have this deal?
Yeah its true. I'm on contract with them. Every year I sighn a one year
contract.I wouldn't want to shoot for any other skate magazines anyways. TWS
has treated me so damn good for the past 6 years.

16mm or Digital?
Both are good.

Why?
16mm and 35mm are awesome to film with because its like photography. You have
different types of films wich shows different mediums in colors. Its fun to
mess around with, but yet very hard to do if your starting out on it.

Do you think 16mm will take over digital in a few years?
No, because filming skate lines with 16mm doesn't give it the same edge as
digital.

I just saw CKY 3, good job on that! Did you do any filming for that?
Yeah I did alot of filming in that video ... not as much as the 1st two
though. I've been busy traveling during the filming for the 3rd one. But I do
have alot of footage in that though .. maybe 10 -15mns worth. Bam hired this
other guy to film some stuff because I couldn't be around all the time.

Are you bummed that Jackass has been canceled?
No. That show was only good for the 1st season. I seriously havn't seen an
episode of Jackass since January.

Okay, I live in Santa Barbara, California and we host the San Marcos rails.
And in Photosynthesis Anthony Van Engelen does a switch fs crooks on the
bottom rail....so do you remember Santa Barbara at all? Cause you got some
sick spots!
Yeah that spot was dope. Didnt they skate proof it? Thats what Sammy Bautista
told me.

Aight thanks for the interview, you got any last words or any advice for up
and coming photographers out there?
Stand strong and never give up on your dreams.
