| Reposted from: F4IFF's forum Date: 13th Sept. 03 Author: Renz I think am the first to post concert experience here. Anyway, the concert was delayed for about 2 hours because of non-stop rains. We had to queue earlier than 3 pm because we got confirmation from ticketworld that seats will be available on a first come first served basis. so by 11 am my mom, cousin, friends and me we're already falling in line. Come 4:30 pm, gates were opened. 30 minutes earlier than the 5:00 pm sked given by the organizer. a lot of people are pushing each other to get to the venue. plus its raining. around 7 pm (i think) there was a stampede in the lower section (where the 500, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,500 tix are located) as a result (this is sad guys) two female fans died at a hospital in pasig city around 11 pm. Concert started at around 8 pm. some two hours later than the sceduled start. for one, the stage was so wet. people had to mop the floor and dry the equipments to be used. and venue wasn't full yet. Filipino entertainers sang first followed by ASOS, Vaness and finally Ken. After all the hassles we encountered, i say its worth everything. |
