University of Moratuwa
The University of Moratuwa is one of the leading technical institutes in Sri Lanka. It is situated in a pleasant environment, bordered by the picturous Bolgoda lake on one end. The other advantage of this location is that it is within an easy accessible distance to the heart of Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka and other major commercial organizations.
Comparing with the the other Universities in Sri Lanka this is fairly small in its infrastructure and allocates a small student population. This is due to the lesser number of faculties. Mainly Engineering and Architecture. This University has gained an enormous reputation both locally and internationally over the past few years due to the utmost dedication of the staff and cooperation of the students making it possible for the students to step into the industry confidently and also ensuring them with a very high possibility of going into higher education overseas.
