The Adventure starts in Easthaven, one of the Ten Towns of Icewind Dale. From there, the party embarks on an expedition into the Spine of the World mountains. Alltho the game is much more of a hack and slash dungeon crawl there still is an element of story, especially with the Heart Of Winter Expansion.
